4.6 rating. I think this is definitely the best option for eating out on a Friday evening in SC KS. The prime rib was very good as well as the german potatoes plus the crispy chicken salad. Staff was great and the venue itself is cool though needs a little tiny bit of TLC.

What a cool place, great atmosphere, service and food! I had the ribeye with German potatoes and my colleague had the grilled shrimp with rice and green beans. Both dishes were expertly prepared. The ribeye was one of the best restaurant steaks I’ve had in quite some time. Service was excellent and friendly. Atmosphere preserves the historic vibe and it sounds like more updates to the experience are on the way. Ample room for any size group or event. Highly recommend a visit.

Our favorite place in Scott City. We eat here at least twice a week. Favorite is the Chicken parm on thurs night and their rib eye on Tuesday.

A hidden gem. Beautifully restored to period theatre into a restaurant. I had Wedge Salad w Blue Cheese dressing and fettuccine. Fresh, crisp, flavorful lettuce and delectable blue cheese. Nice bar selections, great service, a very relaxing dinner after a day on the road. Highly recommend

Service was actually pretty good, but the waitresses can only do what they can do, with what they have. The drinks were actually well made and priced right, but now its time for the bad.

The food is absolutely horrendous. I waited over an hour and fourty one minutes for an ***extremely*** well done slab of dry tough chicken on a salad (shredded lettuce) that had a hair in it. The rest of the tables’ food was also bland and cold when it finally arrived.

For the ultra premium price you pay, you’ll be served a steaming hot platter of shear disappointment.

We pretty much would never have been out in this part of Kansas, except for some family business we had, and when we asked for a recommendation on dinner this place was mentioned by several people. It was definitely a unique experience dining in the former theater and we really enjoyed it. The steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly, and the staff was patient and attentive to us out-of-towners.

I’m a bit torn on this review. Not vegetarian friendly on Sat nights. Waitress seemed annoyed that we were there (and we had a reservation). Ambiance was fun and we enjoyed the fried veggie appetizer plate (yumm fried cheese curds!!) And the onion rings I’d definitely recommend.

I’ve not totally written this place off, and will try Friday evenings at some point as it appears they have a more extensive selection of food. A bit pricey for dinner. Would be nice if they’d up their FB or website presence on specials or at the very least post a menu.

The service was great. The food wasn’t. We ordered what was supposed to be filets and a loaded baked potato. The steak was not a filet, gristle and tough as shoe leather. The loaded baked potato was not loaded, sparse amount of cheese and some bacon bits. Also the building had a musty stale smell. I wouldn’t recommend this place.
