Absolutely loved this bar and grill! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, lively, and perfectly balanced—great for both a casual night out or a fun dinner with friends. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of without hovering.
The food was outstanding. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can tell real care goes into the menu, from the perfectly cooked burgers to the appetizers that disappeared way too fast. The drink selection was just as impressive—well-made cocktails, cold beers, and something for everyone.
Between the great service, delicious food, and relaxed but upbeat vibe, this place easily earns five stars. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to others!

I gave Bryan’s a second chance last night(2/1), and they failed again. There was only one waitress, working both tables and the bar – essentially, she was the only staff member. She rushed around taking orders, which resulted in poor customer service. We felt rushed and she definitely lacked customer service skills. Our orders were missing condiments, and when we asked for them, she didn’t bring them. My dinner was overdone and heavily salted and missing condiments…I didn’t even bother to bring it to the unfriendly waitress’s attention. I noticed she was slightly friendlier with people at the bar, which isn’t saying much. We should enjoy eating out and spending money, but when the service and food quality are poor, you wish you’d gone elsewhere.
To the owners: Please staff more than one waitress so that one can focus on tables and another on the bar, especially during dinner. Also, please encourage welcoming, positive customer service – it would help them receive better tips.

The food the service the atmosphere. 10/10 all around. Kim was just the best, nice attentive, and really a charming person to be around. The food, man oh man what can’t I say about the food. GET THE FRIED CHICKEN, it truly is worth the wait. The pretzels and beer cheese the perfect appetizer and the Mac and cheese was nostalgic. You can tell it was all made with care. We WILL be back. I would leave a photo of the food, but unfortunately we chowed through it before I could snap a photo.

I can’t believe it took me this long to get here as a 20+ year DG resident. The food is outstanding and the team is warm and welcoming. Love the events each night as there is something for everyone. I can come any time of day or night with my family and friends, bring clients, or order delivery and this is the perfect choice every time. Clean and delicious!

I love this place! Down home scratch cooked food! The atmosphere was perfect, with plenty of local people coming in and out. It was like cheers in Downers Grove. This is a true locally owned gem that you must visit. I loved the service with all the staff clicking on all cylinders. The food was very good and I will be visiting again.

Bryans was the spot to go for burgers! Best burgers in town. We went and got burgers after the new owners took over and we were extremely disappointed. They were not the same. They were smaller and just didnt taste the same We haven’t gone for a few months and recently decided to give them a chance again and Im glad we did. I feel that the burgers have started going back to how they use to be and we couldn’t be happier. Brought back a loyal customer.

This is the best place all around. We lived just 5 minutes away and it was great to have a place like this near by. The food is delicious and prepared as ordered. Good draft beers and amazing service. In 2021 we moved to Arizona and this is a place that we wish was next to our new home. Last year we were in Chicago in August and December for one week each time and spent each night at Bryan’s. Same delicious food and amazing people. Buffalo wings and fresh cut fries is our favorite food there but we tasted all and will recommend everything. December 2023 I took a cup of buffalo sauce with me to Arizona.

Went in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, wasn’t busy, service was good, and food was also good. It’s not a big place. Feels like a great neighborhood place. They normally have karaoke on Fridays, but they are having what they are calling Beatles karaoke tonight.
I love to sing so maybe I will have to come back.

Service was over the top. Asked for recommendations and she was absolutely dead on. Had a real cheese burger medium rare and Parmesan fries with soup delicious! Cute atmosphere, clean and very welcoming.
