We found this place on Google Maps and went for lunch. The restaurant was completely empty, which should have been a warning sign. Since we were already there, we ordered Bulgarian pork and spicy pork with two side dishes.
The food was shockingly bad — easily the saltiest food I’ve ever had in my life. This tasted nothing like Korean food. I honestly don’t understand how this place is still in business.
Do yourself a favor and don’t even try it. Worst food in Orange County. Total waste of money and time.

I’ve always driven by the kaleidoscope on the freeway… finally had a reason to stop inside. this little shop is cute and tucked away on the top (6th) floor. it for sure satisfies cravings if you want that bbq and has huge portions for huge prices.
Hana Combo: Get if you’re sharing
It’s SUPER loaded with lots of meats and lots of sides. For 20-something dollars, it can feed 2 adults so it might be a good value if you’re ready to split. You get 3-4 different meats and they were all very flavorful juicy and did justice to the authenticity.
Our server was SO nice and helpful, immediately made our experience so much more pleasant.
Parking and getting there is a little bit funky but you’ll park anywhere and take the elevator to the 6th floor. Realistically you only go like 2 floors up but idk it’s weird.
Food: 7/10
Service: 8/10
Atmosphere: 5/10
Value: 7/10

As dead as the mall is this place was lively and had a decent amount of customers. Staff was so kind and offered samples of all sides and was super accommodating. Got the lunch sized bulgogi bowl and it was super flavorful and filling! Would recommend this place for sure.

Great spot! food was delicious, restaurant was nice and clean and staff was nice. The owner was really nice as well. I will definitely go back and bring friends or family. Food tasted very fresh which is rare to find these days.

Came in at 5pm and it wasn’t crowded. I got to try the Hana Regular with 4 sides and the Beef Bulgogi Lunch with 2 sides. Honestly you can split one Regular meal with another person. We definitely had leftovers. The beef Bulgogi was delicious. The egg meat was a surprisingly tasty one. The Mac salad was safe and good. The sauce on the side made up for the bland tofu. Be sure to come back on Monday-Thursday when there’s a 10% student discount.

Wow! The food here is Excellent!. Very flavorful and right out of Hawaii, Hawaiian style Korean BBQ. This place is easily has the best food of all my reviews. Seriously. And the owner is full of life, very caring and attentive to your needs. You can eat in the restaurant or on the patio in the mall and she will bring your food out to you. I noticed that a lot of people call in their orders and drop in to pick them up on their way home from work. The food here right out of Hawaii, full of flavor common in the islands. Amd They are right off the 5 freeway as you head into Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, or Laguna Niguel. They do get busy on the weekends, there is a line, the food is that good.
They are located in the Kaleidoscope Mall right in front of the Edwards Theater. So hot a good meal and see a movie too. I like to drop by on the way home from work. I will call in my order and pick it up as soon as I get off the 5 on my way into Ladera Ranch. Best dinner ever after a long day at work.

What amazing food. The taste is unbelievable. Its a new gem at the Kaleidoscope. I’ve tried a numerous of items there now and I have to say its my top favorite restaurant to eat at. They have specials on certain days so watch out for them. I had the chicken Katsu. Great job Hana Korean BBQ. Ill be back again.

Stopped by on my way to the beach and had a great time! The food was very good and was fresh. I got the Hana special with the macaroni salad, shoyu potatoes, glass noodles, and cucumber kimchi as my sides. All of the employees were very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend!

This is a great little family owned shop. Very convenient near the theater and each dish is made with care. The Kalbi ribs are delicious and you get 4 sides with the dinner plate! The bbq chicken was also excellent! Definitely recommend , come support a small business in town!
