It’s such a futuristic way of getting your Korean fried chicken. So simplistic so to the point crunch is phenomenal, And even though it’s made to order it’s still fast! It reminds me of those individual food dining cubbies/booths for people who like minimal contact/interactions during dining that I’ve tried in Japan before. A lot of the items that I wanted were sold out but the experience was so well that I will go back again in hopes to get those items ☺️
(I’m not a spicy person but if you are the bokki is perfect for you, to me it was too spicy to enjoy unfortunately, even with the cheese added. But everything else about the bokki was spot on delicious!)

Update: BBQ headquarters reached out. Had to fill out a questionnaire. But they said they can’t do anything about my order because I had ordered through their website?! But if I had ordered through DoorDash directly I could file a complaint and get reimbursed?!!!! Does this make ANY SENSE? Don’t waste your time here friends! Order from the Palisades Park or Closter branches. MUCH better and they PICK UP THE PHONE!!!

I ordered the 1) ddeokbokki 2) rose ddeokboki and 3) special sauce boneless chicken. I order from bbq (various locations) all the time, like at least once a week. This is my 2nd time ordering here. It’s actually my neighborhood branch The quality has substantially dropped here from my first order. I tried calling them and they don’t have their phone connected. The ddeokbokki had very little sauce. The rose ddeokbokki was fine and comparable to other locations. The chicken was so salty!
I will try calling again and may give them 1 more try but the Pal Park store tastes much better than what I got here today for $55 + $18 door dash fees= $73.

I had a great experience here! The service was quick, and the chicken was tender and flavorful. I really liked the futuristic setup where you can order and pick up without face-to-face interaction—very convenient! The tteokbokki was also well-seasoned and enjoyable.
If I could make one small suggestion, I found the food overall a bit on the sweeter side, especially the seasoned chicken. I know take-out food is usually sweeter than home cooking, but I think it would be even better if it were just slightly less sweet.
That said, the portions were generous, and among the local chicken places, this one stands out as the best option. Definitely worth recommending!

I was shocked to see a piece of hair on my chicken with fried pieces stuck to it. I have long hair and this hair clearly got in during preparation. I usually love bbq chicken so I’m disappointed by this.

Perfectly crisp and delicious chicken! Loved the spicy original wings & the waffles fries. You can order on the kiosk or order ahead online. Fast and friendly service.

Absolutely fantastic taste, we already had lunch then saw this bbq chicken we thought of buying it for evening dinner, when the food came its smell/taste made us eat the whole order. Like I said unbelievable taste. Same taste they have in South Korea. Spicy Sweet combination is craving feature.

The chicken here is always extremely good. Just make sure you ordered ahead on the app. I ordered from the in store machine and it took about 45 min.
