The Quarter Creole Cuisine is a Black family owned authentic New Orleans restaurant. We are comfortable, warm, inviting and our food has tons of flavor. When you walk in and smell the food, you might think someone’s grandma is in the kitchen. Thats because our family recipes are from 5 generations of great New Orleans Moms, Grand Mommas and Great Grandmothers. We hope to provide the most authentic Creole dining experience outside of the New Orleans French Quarter. We use the finest ingredients and have multiple generations of family cooks that influence our food. Our team has many colors, sexual preferences, ages, religions and backgrounds. We are one big family and it shows in our love for our work.

Garrett was friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out on time and exactly how we wanted it. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of food you get. Quarter Creole Cuisine is definitely worth visiting. I’ll be coming back again soon.
Quarter Creole Cuisine is an absolute treasure! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone—warm, welcoming, and full of that classic New Orleans charm. The food? Out of this world. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic Creole flavor, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. You can tell the kitchen pours heart and soul into every plate.
The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and the experience. It’s rare to feel so well taken care of without it being overbearing, but they struck the perfect balance. And if you’re lucky enough to go on a Tuesday, you’re in for a real treat. The live music was phenomenal—lively, soulful, and the perfect backdrop to an already unforgettable evening. It added such a fun, energetic vibe to the night without overpowering conversation. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Quarter Creole Cuisine is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!
From the moment we stepped into The Quarter in Claremont, it was like being whisked straight to New Orleans. The atmosphere was electric — the scent of Creole spices in the air, the soft hum of conversation mingled with jazz playing in the background, and the decor that looked plucked right out of the French Quarter. I half-expected to walk outside and find a brass band on the corner!
We started with the soft-shelled crab and grits, perfectly crisp and full of Southern comfort. The fried catfish topped with crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and absolutely indulgent — pure Louisiana soul on a plate. The roasted catfish with lump crab was delicate yet decadent, each bite melting in your mouth.
Even the bread and butter were unforgettable — the sweet Creole butter was so good we could’ve made a meal out of it alone.
Our bourbon cocktails were spot-on — smooth, balanced, and crafted with care — and we finished with the bread pudding drizzled in warm bourbon sauce, which was heavenly. Every dish was layered with flavor and heart.
A special shoutout to José, our server, who was not only attentive and friendly but truly made us feel like family. His recommendations were perfect!
We live three and a half hours away, but honestly, I’d make the drive again just for a date night here. It’s that good. The Quarter doesn’t just serve food — it serves an experience.
