The burritos taste okay, maybe because I had higher expectation from other reviews. I think the food is freshly cooked, price is reasonable and the patio is nice. I wouldn’t crave the carnitas burrito to make a trip out here for it. If convenient, I’ll stop by to try something else.

Best Tacos in the area! Its a nice quick spot usually gets a lot of attention during lunch hours. But they get orders out in a timely fashion. Really good Birria Tacos an Horchata!

First timer here! Me and my mom split the 4 Birria Taco Plate and it was yummyyyyyy. The beans and rice were amazing. We will definitely be back. Truly recommend!

Tornado Taco has never let me down! I ordered the spicy ground beef nachos. When my food was handed to me, it was heavy! I’ve never had diced potatoes on nachos but that is a great addition! It was loaded with beef and cheese. There were no naked nachos
For $8.99, I feel I got my money’s worth! I was able to share with my bf and we still had nachos left over. It’s almost like a second meal the next day; tortilla casserole. Taco Cabana nachos has nothing on Tornado Taco!
I can’t wait to try more of their menu items!

Bad service! The girl on the headset rushed me through my order, cut me off several times with the total without asking if I wanted anything else. Finally, I gave up and just pulled forward without ordering everything I wanted. Then when I got home my birria burrito plate only had the burrito in it, no beans & rice. I specified twice it was the burrito plate not just the burrito. My birria taco didn’t have any consume with it and the chicken tacos were covered in onions and again didn’t have any beans and rice. The green salsa was the best part of the meal. Probably won’t be back! So disappointing! Wednesday night at 7:30pm should have better service and food than this!

Ok hear me out. It looks like a shack, it looks like it’s been there forever. This is for a reason, you are about to have some of the most delicious tacos of your life. The service is always friendly but not overly so that it’s forced. You can order online for pickup which is a life saver sometimes with how long the lines are. Whether it’s breakfast burritos with perfectly cooked chorizo and eggs or birra tacos after a long day the consistency is remarkable. Prices were raised a little while back but they are still reasonably priced for the serving sizes.

I honestly don’t know why these reviews are so high, this place is like the worst breakfast taco experience in town but I am sucker for non chains….
1. there is 0 seasoning on the potatoes or eggs, so prepare to drown with salsa or it will taste unsalted/bland
2. the diced potatoes will contain chunks that are raw
3. the tortillas are the worst ones I had in my life…imagine cheap store bought tortillas that are going stale and a gum like texture that you have to pull with your teeth to chew at times… I don’t know if they are just stale, or they source them from a discount/dollar store….
4. meats look like vommit and dry that are also lowest in quality
5. cheddar cheese melts and has this plastic shimmer (think cicis)

We’ve been frequenting Tornado Taco in Missouri City for years, and it never disappoints! The potato queso bowls are a standout favorite, and the Birria tacos are simply amazing. The mango habanero salsa is a must-try—flavorful and surprisingly mild. Highly recommend!
