Wren and Wolf has been my go-to-place for lunch since they opened. They have a wonderful lunch menu that includes breakfast served until 1. This place is located within walking distance to many government offices and for less than 20 bucks you can get a hearty lunch. They serve a variety of dishes – salads, sandwiches, fries – and the ambience is very eclectic and distinguished. I absolutely love their decor. I have stopped for dinner less often than lunch and I very much enjoyed their cocktails but have limited experience with their dinner menu. As I’ve visited over the years, the quality and hardiness of their lunch dishes have remained constant. The establishment is always clean and service, so far, has been phenomenal. There are a few dinner dishes that you can try during lunch. You do not need reservations for lunch but it does get busy. I highly recommend you try this place.

Wren & Wolf offers far more than a typical night out—it feels like a full culinary experience. While the menu leans toward the upscale side, the quality easily justifies the cost. Each plate arrived looking like a work of art and delivered bold, well-balanced flavors that showed real attention to detail. You can tell the ingredients are thoughtfully sourced and expertly prepared. From start to finish, everything felt intentional, polished, and memorable. This is the kind of place you choose when you want something special, not rushed or ordinary. If you appreciate elevated dining and don’t mind splurging a bit for exceptional food, this spot truly delivers.

If you love great food, this place is a must-visit. Every dish impressed us, starting with the oysters and yellowtail crudo. We happened to visit during restaurant week, which was a bonus. The whipped ricotta and strawberry salad was unforgettable—easily the best salad I’ve ever had. While the halibut was tasty, it arrived a bit cold. The lobster pasta and braised oxtail pasta completely stole the show—rich, flavorful, and absolutely incredible.

Wren and Wolf was wonderfully delightful. The decor is very unique with large paintings of wolves and small game birds in a dim lit somewhat noir vibe. There are also mounted wolves, pheasants, and quail hanging around the restaurant.

The food was fantastic, started with bread, salad, and some east coast oysters. All wonderfully tasteful. The Ribeye was good a little undercooked from what I requested but overall great flavor. The Faroe Island salmon was some of the best I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend giving it a try for date night or celebration dinner.

Had an incredible dinner at Wren & Wolf. The atmosphere is stunning – upscale steakhouse vibes with beautiful décor and cozy booths.
Started with cocktails – beautifully crafted with fresh mint and strawberry garnish. The oysters on the half shell were fresh and came with a nice variety of mignonettes and accompaniments. The crudo was delicate and artfully presented with a vibrant herb oil and microgreens.
For the main, the duck was perfectly cooked – tender with a gorgeous medium sear, served over black rice with mushrooms, peas, and carrots. The presentation was stunning with two complementary sauces that added depth to every bite.
This is definitely a splurge-worthy spot for a special occasion. The food, drinks, and ambiance all deliver.

The food, service, and drinks where simply amazing! Had dinner before the carnival of illusion show and one of the best nights I’ve had in a while starting with the service just amazing our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu offering wonderful suggestions for food and drinks! The food itself was amazing I ordered the Halibut and my friend ordered the Ribeye for dinner we also had the bone marrow as an appetizer and Lord knows it was everything you could imagine we did the caviar bump with street credit if you know you know! Oh and don’t leave without dessert the meyer lemon cake and gelato where a perfect closing to a wonderful dinner.Overall I highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more Signature dishes!

So I’ve eaten at Wren and Wolf but this time My visit was actually at Carry-on, The 1970s themed airplane bar that’s attached to Wren and Wolf. Though it’s not a big bar, it has an amazing atmosphere. My girlfriend loved it. The colors and the textures of everything around you from the wood paneling on the ceilings and walls to the plush seating and the video screen windows, we’re all on top tier and help build the 1970s aesthetic. The drinks are really good two that stood out were the Chi-chi and the Chuhai. Even the welcome drink was really good… I wish I could remember its name in case I ever wanted to order it. All the drinks were based off the theme of a flight from New York to Tokyo. There were many Japanese ingredients used in the drinks. Even the complimentary nuts I believe were miso covered. At the end of our “flight” we were giving black and white cookies which were surprisingly phenomenal. Getting “tickets” can be a bit of a headache but it’s not a huge bar so I understand the need for the reservation. In the end it was completely worth it. The service was great. The drinks and the atmosphere were just as good. I’d definitely go again… Matter of fact I will go again because my girlfriend said she really loved it and wanted to do it again when they were “flying” to another destination. This would be a great place to start your evening after dinner and before going out and really tying one on or if you have friends or family from out of town. A good day night idea as well. I highly recommend you

Wren & Wolf: Where Every Dish Tells a Story

Dining at Wren & Wolf is like stepping into a culinary dream, bold flavors, stunning presentation, and a touch of decadence in every bite.

We began with roasted bone marrow, served in split beef bones and crowned with microgreens. The marrow was silky and indulgent, paired perfectly with toasted bread and a savory crumble that added texture and depth.

The duck breast was a masterpiece, seared to perfection and nestled on a bed of black rice with diced vegetables. A streak of smoky sauce and pickled fruit slices added balance and brightness, making each bite feel like a well-composed symphony.

Then came the truffle mac and cheese, served in a rustic metal pot. Creamy, earthy, and luxurious, with thick rigatoni and generous slices of black truffle, it was comfort food elevated to high art.

And finally, the wagyu steak: grilled slices with a charred crust, finished with coarse salt and fresh herbs. Rich, tender, and unapologetically bold, the kind of dish that lingers in memory long after the last bite.

Wren & Wolf isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a celebration of flavor, texture, and visual delight. Every plate feels like a love letter to gourmet indulgence.

Wren & Wolf absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt upscale yet inviting, with impeccable service that made the entire evening feel special.

The cocktails were outstanding — creative, and clearly crafted by bartenders who know exactly what they’re doing. Each drink was a highlight on its own and set the tone for an exceptional night.

The Japanese A5 Wagyu was simply phenomenal. Melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich, and flawlessly prepared — truly one of those dishes you don’t forget. Every bite was pure indulgence and worth every penny.

If you’re looking for top-tier cocktails, incredible food, and a refined but vibrant dining experience, Wren & Wolf is an absolute must. We’ll definitely be back. ✨
