“If you are anywhere near the border, do yourself a favor and drive the 10 minutes to Rugus. This place is on another level. We came in hungry and every single dish exceeded expectations and portions are really big.
Here is what we had:
El Kraken: Perfectly cooked octopus with incredible texture and flavor.
Molcajete de Camarón y Atún: Super fresh, vibrant, and the sauce had the perfect balance of heat and lime.
Bota Rugus: A great way to sample a bit of everything—perfect for sharing with a group.
Ceviche Mixto: You can tell the seafood wad fresh.
The atmosphere is great, the service is attentive, and the value is unbeatable compared to what you’d find across the border. This is officially our new favorite seafood destination in the area!”

Come in with an appetite for fresh seafood and leave satisfied. Any time of day and any day of the week is a good day for a Palapa molcajete and a cold beer. Enjoy one of the many choices and fast and friendly service. Enjoy the live music usually played by a couple of guys walking in and playing for tips. The closest feel to being by the beach you’ll get in this part of the country!! Get your car washed outside for a couple of dollars while you eat .

This is my favorito restaurante for shrimp, though they also have a full menú of fish and meat. This. Is parte of a chain which also has restaurantes in Cananea and Agua Prieta that I know of.
The shrimp items are excelente and I rotate through them.
It is a place to bring friend and family. They have a separarte room for partes and I have se eral times seen them make a fuss with balloons and such for birthdays.
It is also a place for a business lunch, however, the noise level from the sound system may impedir conversation. When this has happened they hace quickly turned the sound down when requested.
I strongly recomnend this restaurante for family, friends, and tourists.
