Got some brisket tacos, fish and shrimp.
A fellow reviewer ordered the Mini Plate and 2 tacos and they assisted me with taking the photo of their order. Thanks for the assist, You know who you are
2 Smoked Brisket tacos which were maxed out portion wise, Rice, beans, chips and an Horchata to wash it all down for under 10 bucks…
Can’t beat a deal like that with a stick even if you wanted to! Not to mention the tacos were great, the Brisket was tender and very flavorful. Staff were very friendly as well.
If you’re looking for a good taco Tuesday deal don’t sleep on Hole Mole.

There is so much to say I don’t know where to begin. Not too long ago this barbecue place was known as a Mexican spot. Hole mole. And it was one of the better Mexican places in the neighborhood. Since then this restaurant has evolved into a a barbecue restaurant with some really good Mexican staples.
First and foremost, the barbecue and brisket is top notch and will go toe to toe with some of the best Texas barbecue any day of the week. Not only that, they serve the brisket in a variety of ways. My favorite is the brisket sandwich which has the most incredible bun that is toasted with this amazing crunch to it. But in addition, you can get the brisket on tacos. And these are some of the best brisket tacos I’ve ever had. For those not familiar with brisket tacos, they are very common in Texas. However, the tacos at hole smokes again take the crown. It’s not just the brisket but the amazing corn tortillas unlike any corn tortillas I’ve ever had before. In addition to brisket tacos, they also do a variety of other tacos including smoke to shrimp, fish and potato variants.
They also have a lot of great sides that I’m addicted to. Like the smoked chilies that I put in their amazing mac and cheese. You’re also able to get more traditional Mexican side dishes like refried beans and Spanish rice. They also do a great job with their fries. Where they flash fry them.
The best barbecue in Los Angeles county. Prove me wrong.
Holé Molé was my “Taco Tuesday” lunch destination near downtown Long Beach. It has been awhile since my last visit. Today, I ordered two fish tacos with a side of rice and beans, along chips and salsa a few yellow jalapenos. The fish tacos came battered, fried and topped with chops cabbages, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and creama. The side of rice was soft and lightly seasoned and the beans was nice and hot and topped with melted cheese. Holé Molé was a great stop for a quick bite.
