Came in for taco Tuesday and got a great deal for the price.

2 Smoked Brisket tacos which were maxed out portion wise, Rice, beans, chips and an Horchata to wash it all down for under 10 bucks…

Can’t beat a deal like that with a stick even if you wanted to! Not to mention the tacos were great, the Brisket was tender and very flavorful. Staff were very friendly as well.

If you’re looking for a good taco Tuesday deal don’t sleep on Hole Mole.

Great brisket tacos! Very good fish tacos! Good service. We 2 split the surf & turf plate for about $12. It included 2 fish tacos, 2 brisket tacos, rice, beans and several chips. Everything was good or better. We loved the brisket. Recommended.

Bring Back the Old BBQ! This now a Mexican restaurant. It is great but not as great as the old BBQ.

There is so much to say I don’t know where to begin. Not too long ago this barbecue place was known as a Mexican spot. Hole mole. And it was one of the better Mexican places in the neighborhood. Since then this restaurant has evolved into a a barbecue restaurant with some really good Mexican staples.

First and foremost, the barbecue and brisket is top notch and will go toe to toe with some of the best Texas barbecue any day of the week. Not only that, they serve the brisket in a variety of ways. My favorite is the brisket sandwich which has the most incredible bun that is toasted with this amazing crunch to it. But in addition, you can get the brisket on tacos. And these are some of the best brisket tacos I’ve ever had. For those not familiar with brisket tacos, they are very common in Texas. However, the tacos at hole smokes again take the crown. It’s not just the brisket but the amazing corn tortillas unlike any corn tortillas I’ve ever had before. In addition to brisket tacos, they also do a variety of other tacos including smoke to shrimp, fish and potato variants.

They also have a lot of great sides that I’m addicted to. Like the smoked chilies that I put in their amazing mac and cheese. You’re also able to get more traditional Mexican side dishes like refried beans and Spanish rice. They also do a great job with their fries. Where they flash fry them.

The best barbecue in Los Angeles county. Prove me wrong.

The service was warm, personable, and friendly. It’s such a nice neighborhood vibe. There’s parking, indoor and outdoor seating. We tried the surf & turf plates. My favorite was the fish tacos. The batter was light, yet the bite still had crunch. We were surprised by how much BBQ was in each taco. We had to take those home because we were full. Great place to eat alone, on a date or with family.

This place is pretty good. There’s always people inside and the food is cheap, really good semi authentic. Way better than Taco Bell but about the same price, maybe slightly cheaper, for sure better flavor. Along with that they have a nice little outside seating area to enjoy by yourself or with friends. The place may look like it’s not good but you’ll have to give it a try first before kicking it to the side. It’s great food!

Holé Molé is a great catch phrase and the name of a Mexican-inspired comfort food restaurants located directly on the corner of 4th Street and Almond Avenue in the City of Long Beach, California. Indoor and outdoor dining are both available at this time. They’re open 7 days a week from 10 am – 9 pm.

Holé Molé was my “Taco Tuesday” lunch destination near downtown Long Beach. It has been awhile since my last visit. Today, I ordered two fish tacos with a side of rice and beans, along chips and salsa a few yellow jalapenos. The fish tacos came battered, fried and topped with chops cabbages, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and creama. The side of rice was soft and lightly seasoned and the beans was nice and hot and topped with melted cheese. Holé Molé was a great stop for a quick bite.

Holy mole is accurate. The brisket taco was so juicy and tender that I wanted another one. Unfortunately I was too full from the bomb Baja shrimp and fish tacos. The shrimp and fish were SO crispy, and they didn’t skimp out. I couldn’t really fold the taco because of how stuffed it was. Bookmarked and can’t wait to return.
