Bustling, orange-hued restaurant for a wide array of Indian classics like tandoori chicken & kebabs.

Had a great experience at this Aroma restaurant serving authentic Kerala cuisine.
The flavors felt very traditional and close to home. I tried the veg biryani, which was aromatic and well-spiced without being overpowering. The chana masala was rich and comforting, and it paired perfectly with the soft, flaky Malabar paratha. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. A must-visit if you’re looking for real Kerala-style vegetarian dishes!

Food is always fresh and delicious ~ the owners are also super sweet and we got to chatting and hearing how they got Aroma started. I also love their lunch buffet, there are so many options to choose from.
Depicted here is the chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and basmati rice!

Good spot if you’re looking for authentic flavors at a reasonable price. One option that really stood out was their couple meal – for around $25, two people can enjoy a filling lunch with generous portions. It’s more than enough for two and great value for money.
We tried a few authentic South Indian dishes, and all were well done with good flavors. Overall, the food is solid, and the couple meal option makes this place worth visiting, especially for a casual lunch.

Hi!
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some feedback regarding a few recent orders and experiences, as I truly value the quality and service your restaurant usually provides.
Back in May, I placed an order for Chili Chicken, but I was informed 10 minutes later that the dish was unavailable. I was quite disappointed, as I had been looking forward to it, and substituted it with Chicken Tikka Masala. Unfortunately, that dish did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor and quality. I would also like to suggest that the chicken pieces be cut into smaller, bite-sized portions for a better dining experience. I suggested that the team in future make sure they have everything available.
On Mother’s Day, I ordered Kadai Paneer but instead received Kadai Chicken. The dish was bland and lacked the usual flavor I’ve come to expect from your restaurant. When I called to discuss the issue, I was informed that the restaurant would be closing earlier than usual that day, even though I understood your Sunday hours to be until 8:00 PM. The team mentioned that a credit would be provided for the inconvenience.
I wanted to bring these matters to your attention because I genuinely appreciate your restaurant and the quality it typically delivers. I would be grateful if you could look into these issues and let me know how they can be resolved.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding.

I went here for my birthday with friends and family. There were 8 of us all together, and ghe restaurant was very accommodating. They’re a little slow, which was good for us because it meant we got the full attention of the staff, but also a little confusing because this is genuinely a great place with amazing food. My mom and grandma were a little reluctant to try Indian food, but now they’re obsessed with this place. They have a diverse menu with plenty of protein options (chicken is my go-to), and the prices are just right for the portions you get. I usually spend $20+ whenever I go. The place is clean and classy and the staff there are very friendly. They could have better dessert options, but there’s a fro-yo place literally right next door to them, so you can always go there if you want something sweet after. Overall solid establishment, I give a 9 out of 10!

Wow. Now this is absolutely the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I went with my friend and let me tell you we were starving. As soon as we went into the place you could just smell all of the goodness. We were greeted at the door by a very lovely woman and she recommended the butter chicken. My friend Dan had one of those rice bowls.
Excellent customer service and it was a very nice ambience. Now let’s get to the food that butter chicken was some succulent flavorful and it wasn’t too creamy. The blend was just right sometimes when they use all of those creams and yogurts and all that it can change the flavor too much but this was the perfect for me. I don’t know how they made this dish, but they had the right combinations for the delicious creations. I look forward to going back.
Oh, before I forget, the Garlic Nann was really phenomenal. We have the spicy one I wish I’d had two orders! I can eat that all day with the sauce.

Ate in here recently and we enjoyed the food greatly. We ate an order of butter chicken and a lamb korma and both were very tasty as were the Malabar parathas we ate it with. One specific highlight- Aroma makes appams! Appams are hard to find in Jersey so we love ordering them on weekends when they are available. Thanks for the good food and service, much appreciated!

I had the take out for anchive fry, veg biryani ,chicken biryani, Tandoori chicken, chicken pepper fry , Naan, and egg plant curry. Every thing delicious. Only disappointment for me is the vegetable biryani. I know it’s easy to use the frozen vegetables, but it’s made the biryani and vegetable watery. I don’t expect these from Indian restaurant specially vegetable biryani. And it have the vegetable that I never usually seen before zucchini, and flat beans. I believe they are part of frozen vegetables.

One of the best buffet restaurants in new jersey. You can get Indian kerala food here. Especially I like the duck roast and mixed see food fry that includes baby shrimp, mussels. Plenty of starters, main courses, thoran verities, chat items, deserts..

They list many items on their menu, but after I order, they often say it’s not available and try to replace it with something else. The food has become very expensive and the taste is very bad. They used to serve decent food, but my last three orders were a terrible experience. One dish was so salty we had to throw it away. The mutton curry had only five tiny pieces, and it still cost around 20–25 dollars.
