This is a great little hot dog place! However, they have a lot more than just hot dogs. We only tried the hot dogs and they were delicious. The fries were also amazing, highly recommend if you are in the Lynchburg area. Very reasonable prices.

Counter seating for simply delicous fast food. No need to order all at once. Take your time and eat until satisfied. I started with the Cheesy Westerns, then the Jesse Jones’ hot dog done all the way and ended with a bowl of chili also done all the way. Friendly staff and patrons. If your just visiting, take home a souvenir. Before you leave, ask about the Funny.

On vacation from Texas and where do I have lunch. The Texas Inn of course! My first ever stop here. Employees extremely friendly. Food was very good and a reasonable price. It was a step back in time that was very enjoyable.

Great, frequently service where my first time there felt like I was family. Really quick service, faster than most fast casual places nowadays. The cheesy western was really good but the deep fried pie was tremendous. It’s worth a visit just for the pie. Will be back.

Open 24 hours.. Good food and great local conversation. They will feed 1500 people, 15 at a time! Kid friendly during the day, kids probably should be awake late at night. Great breakfast as well! Not expensive either. Best down home burger and dog in the city.

I hate to be the person leaving bad reviews, but this one was a health risk :/. I ordered and got delivered the bbq, onions rings, side of slaw and a slice of pie. Never received the slaw and pie, and the bbq had pieces of meat that was still very pink, and the meat itself tasted very sour.

Texas Inn is a staple of Lynchburg which must be experienced!
Going to Texas Inn is like going to your grandma’s house – you’re always welcome, mind your manners, and make yourself at home sweetie, while we make you something to eat.

Texas Inn’s philosophy is pretty much that everyone is welcome, be respectful and get respect in return, and don’t be a jerk (especially towards the staff – you’ve been warned).

Also, it seems like at Texas Inn, when we allow ourselves to just be human and see others as just human, we can just enjoy some time together. We’d be a bit better off with more Texas Inn philosophy in our lives.
