I had a coupon for a free burrito and I hadn’t been to a location in a long time. I usually prefer small taquerias that have a homemade feeling. However, when I came in here, the employees treated me better than family. I felt so loved. The manager helped me use the new system to order since I was so confused. She went above and beyond to help me. I got two burritos and two horchatas. The horchata was decent but not homemade. The burritos were surprisingly good for a fast food place. I’m definitely coming here if I’m in the area again. The way the employees treated me was the best part. They were too empathetic; in a good way.

Everything was going so good
until 12:35pm I’m never going back El Pollo Loco with my service animal if any of the employees know her patches says ” stop no eye contact”
from this incident I’m not okay because there is no need to ask me if I have a “muzzle” for that we got kick out. and if you know
muzzles aren’t necessary for all Service Dogs ,
they do have a role in certain situations.
I don’t feel welcome anymore because of this incident today March 1, 2023 and she only bark because someone was giving her eye contact !
it says on her patches ” stop no eye contact ” and from there she bark in El Pollo Loco because she felt uncomfortable by one of El Pollo Loco employees looking at her & from there it wasn’t good.
then some employee assume I knew Spanish they use the microphone saying something I don’t know what but what I can say is what a horrible experience .
I hope nobody has to go through that.

They need to change their name to ‘POLLITO DIMINUTO” means TINY LITTLE CHICKEN. The chicken legs are so small that I felt bad for the chicken. They really need to start feeding those chickens because they are anorexic. Might be a pigeon because the legs and thighs where so tiny. Dont waste your money. Oh yeah and the cerranos where moldy. El Pollo Locos version of Birria meat is sooo very disappointing!!! The birria meat tasted like old mushy microwaved roast beef had no mexican flavors at all I wouldn’t even have guessed it was supposed to be Birria meat if you didn’t tell me. Consume also didn’t help at all with the flavor. The whole meal I got today was just straight flavorless I know el pollo loco is known for not being authentic but this is ridiculous!!! Seems like they just came up with this quick to get people talking trying to keep up with the hype of the Real Birria sensation. No not recommend. Don’t waste your money .

The chicken is nothing but bones, hardly any meat at all. The side dishes lack any and all flavor or resemblance of food. There is zero salt used apparently, or any other spices or flavorful cooking methods. I don’t often say this, but this was straight up a pure waste of money.
