Ok, looking for something just Louisiana,,, we’ll we found it!! Absolutely the best. The food was amazing! The onions ring, man so good! Fried shrimp and oysters make you wanna slap your momma… hehehe (just not mine lol) Leah was our waitress. She made the meal PERFECT! What great service and personality! We were passing through but we WILL be back. This is our place when we pass this way again, which we do a lot.

We were greeted and seated in little to no time around 4:30-5:00 on a weekend. I ordered stuffed catfished and onion rings, and both were phenomenal! Our waitress was the best— very attentive to our needs, friendly, and knowledgeable! We were very pleased with our experience! Atmosphere was great— dress up or come in shorts or blue jeans! They also have pick up and delivery for locals, plus fresh and frozen food to reheat or cook at home- great entrees and desserts!

If you’re looking for healthy options this isn’t your spot. We started with seafood gumbo and cheese sticks. The gumbo was mostly roux and rice. The cheese sticks were good, although I’d prefer to have marinara as an option for dipping instead of just ranch. We got the combo with fish and shrimp with onion rings. This had decent portions and and the rings were good. It did come with a side salad which was a very light portion.

Some of the best, if not the best, Cajun food I’ve ever had. Started with the fried pickles and the wife had a salad. Both excellent. I had the stuffed catfish covered with Crawfish Etouffe and a side of jambalaya. Sooooo good! The little lady had a muffaletta and it was badass as well. Highly recommended. Server Cameron was fantastic as well. Cant wait to go back.

Our server Emily was outstanding. She offered apps, and asked if we would like her to make a menu suggestion! I loved that.

Hands down the best place to eat in the Ruston area. 3 generations of my family enjoy this place, and it’s an absolute staple of the area.

Happy accident,. Ended up eating here after the first choice was unavailable. The atmosphere and service were a delight. The place felt very homey to me being back in Louisiana from my home state. Gracie our server was polite and well trained in customer service. Our appetizers came out quick and were tasty,.. I had the crawfish etouffe with a peach margarita,.. The flavor of both were delicious. As were the cheese sticks and other foods we shared.
For the main course I had the stuffed catfish,. It was pretty good but it was shadowed by the etouffe..
I would recommend this place as a place to visit but I would stick to the creole side of the menu,.. that is where the flavor is best.

So we are in Ruston Louisiana playing baseball this weekend. I asked a friend who used to live there where we should go eat. He said hands-down you have to try this restaurant.
So after a hot day of baseball, we decided to head on over to try this restaurant.
The wait was not too long, and after about 30 minutes we were seated.
We ordered the boneless chicken wings for the boys to dive into because they were starving, and the Boudin balls.
Boneless chicken wings were as expected. So really no need to review those.
The Boudin balls arrived, and I was shocked at the number of balls, we were served! The order came with a lot of boudin balls. They had some great spice to them. Just enough heat to let you know you aren’t in Kansas anymore!
Entrees ordered.
Apparently, my son had not ever eaten crawfish étouffée, so he ordered a big plate of it. I think he enjoyed it because there was only a few bites left. Luckily my kids like to try new things all the time. Brax gave this two thumbs up!
I ordered the stuffed catfish, and let me tell you that was one of the best dishes I’ve eaten in a while. The catfish was fried perfectly, the crawfish étouffée they put on top and all over the catfish was like a flavor bomb going off in my mouth. We all enjoyed our meals and would gladly come back and eat it again and again.
The biggest surprise of the night was Piper our server! She was amazing. Our drinks were never empty and she always was stopping by to make sure we were taken care of. Best service I have experienced in a while.
