I was recently showing condos to a client in Saco and Biddeford, including the mills, and they asked where to grab a fast, great bite to eat. The answer was easy — Rapid Rays.
It turned into a fun, affordable lunch with a cool, relaxed atmosphere. The food was quick, fresh, and my clients loved it — they can’t wait to go back. I’ve been bringing my kids here since they were little, and Rapid Rays has always been a consistent local favorite.

Come for the old school burgers and dogs. That’s all we had but the other stuff looks good too. This is an iconic spot with no tables – just ledges that have just enough space to put your food. Worth the experience and the price is looooow.

This place is a prime example of mastering your craft. The food is always good, it’s clean, they are friendly, it’s not overpriced, and the kitchen works like a well oiled machine. I drive all the way from Buxton because they’re the best in the biz. If you’re in the Saco Biddeford area, don’t waste your money on McDonalds or some crap burger. Go with the local, family owned spot and watch in awe as they absolutely crush the lunch rush. The name isn’t just marketing.

Awesome food, as always! My family and I have been coming here since I was a kid. I brought a friend for her first time and she thought it was great too. Part of the experience is standing at the ledge eating, while watching the traffic & people. Highly recommend!

Found this recommended on google maps when trying to find a lunch stop, glad we stopped. Extremely well kept restaurant. Walk up window to order, no seating inside restaurant however there are benches outside to sit at. Prices are very decent. Highly suggest the lobster roll and onion rings! It was a cute little stop in this beautiful area.

Really lives up to it’s name, food was freshly made yet ready exceptionally quick, a large order for 4 was ready in under 3 minutes. The food has a classic small town feel to it; I recommend going with the steamed dogs and a side of fries. For drinks they have standard water, soda, and coffee options or if you want to try something more unique you can pick up 8oz cartons of milk (either plain or chocolate) for $1.

Rapid Ray’s… In search of the local spot for good food, we stumbled upon Rapid Ray’s! I honestly thought that there would be tables and chairs ( don’t know why!) but no! Anywho, great vibe, great people behind the counter, good (fast food) menu! As we waited in line, we asked a local lady what her favorite item on the menu was. She fired – the hot dogs (without even thinking). I said, well, when in Maine, one has to try the seafood, so against the local recommendation, we went clam cake and lobster roll ☺️. I wasn’t wowed , but the whole establishment, the people, the spirit – made it a great experience! One day I will go back to try the hot dogs!
