I love coming here. Food is always on point, and everyone is always busy chatting and seeming to be in high spirits. Sophi, and the manager do a great job at keeping on track and making sure people are well attended. (I say these two because they are the ones I’ve interacted with most.) Though all staff do their part to make for a grand and inviting atmosphere. Thank you all for the great time. God bless you!!!

The food was delicious. Great variety to choose from. The floor staff was friendly and the cooking staff new what they were doing. We tried the cheese curds too and the were delicious some of the best I’ve had.

We were on vacation in the rapid city area and had never been to a Mongolian restaurant so when we saw this we said screw it, why not.
We could not have been more pleasantly surprised !
The staff was fantastic.
The price for what is essentially all you can eat is beyond fair.
The food choices are plentiful and delicious.
I like the concept of cooking on the rotating surface.
We are from NY and my only regret is that we don’t have any HuHots near us.

I was pretty disappointed in this place when I came today. I have been to other HuHots in Colorado and never had issues but here overall the experience was subpar. I was visiting my family and we decided to check it out.
Server: was alright but could’ve been more diligent on being out.
Food/cooking: this is my biggest issue. While dishing up the meat a lot of the meat specify the pork looked like it had been left out for longer then is allowed because it was overly soft. A lot of the counters were sticky and messy. Mind you the restaurant was not busy by any means. When it comes to buffet style food the cleanliness should be kept up with.
Once I brought my food up the cook cooked it completely different than what I had seen at all the other HuHots. Then half of my food proceeded to get stuck to the cook top because he was not moving it but let it sit the majority of the time in a mound. All my sauce got burned and stuck to the cook top.
I also noticed that the cook had a beard and had no hair net on. Which I am pretty sure do not meet health code standards when it’s passed a certain length.
They really need to step up on cleanliness and training.

An extraordinary experience; I’d never been to a restaurant where you bring your own food and season it, and someone else cooks it for you. If you don’t like the food, it’s your fault, because of the food selection and how you seasoned it jajajajaja. 10/10

I have dined at other HuHots before and this location is the worst and horrible experience. Let’s break this down.
1. Lack of hygiene and cleanliness in the cooking space. See picture it has standing muck and dirty water.
2. Food when given to cook is mixed with other foods too. I got some beef balls in my food when I only had them chicken to cook.
3. Fired rice is an extra 1.99$ but was just dried and burnt.
4. We got a horrible server, who did not care to clean or refill the water.
Health inspection is required and stay away from this place.

When we got seated our waitress came over to tell us how to make our dished and she said the sauce was your friend and we agree we did our sauces like she said and it was amazing. The cook had a full grill and did amazing getting everyone served and he even had time to chat with us about where we are from and when I asked him if he lived his job he said its the best job ever and loved all the customers

Dirty and HORRIBLE service. Lots of food particles mixed, but that does really bother us much. Lots of the self serve dishes had gross dried food particles crusted on them. And the people in back were preparing the vegetables with no gloves on or hairnets. I saw a lady handling a huge container of zuchinni spirals- bare hands all over everything. (Although I saw another review with a reply from management saying this is permissible- it still seems unsanitary and pretty gross to see) Anyway, we were here on 10/21 and once the week prior (visiting from out of town, and love Huhot). The waitress we had on 10/21 was the only girl there, and she was by far one of the worst we’ve ever had. We always spoke pleasantly, and she did as well, yet she became very smug and snippy. Argued about bringing more than 1 bowl of rice. Our son likes a whole bowl smothered in hot sauce. I and husband like plain. Then she argued about giving us siracha sauce. Then was inattentive- no doubt deliberately, because she never removed any of our dirty dishes, and made a point of asking other tables how everything was. But not us. I realized we were there for the lunch and they had NOT put the shrimp out yet, and she wanted to charge us for dinner. Luckily, when we first came in, I had had our son screenshot the code on the huhot app (to get the points) because the waitress didn’t want to take the code until later. That verified the time we arrived. She knew this, but still took her time going back to supposedly consult the manager, etc. The whole scene was just sadly unpleasant- ruined our appetite besides. We left the waitress ZERO for a tip- which we never, ever do; but that’s exactly what she deserved. However, the cook was extremely jovial and pleasant and we made sure to tip him.

always a great atmosphere. it has always been clean when i have gone and i have been here several times. my food is always cooked perfectly. the veggies are always fresh. the only thing that is ever messy is the sauce section purely due to the fact that these grown adults don’t know how to be neat putting their sauces in the bowl or they let their very young children make a mess! love this place!

We stopped in about an hour before close and the staff was so kind and still happy to accommodate us. We have never been and the food was truly outstanding, the waitress was so kind and gave great and accurate recommendations! We will absolutely be back!
