They are dog friendly as I could have my Christmas Eve dinner and bring my dog too!
They also spoke English, which made everything easier. A wonderful experience overall!
I waited about 25 minutes.
It would be good if the serving time were faster.
Also, I didn’t like that when I wanted to pay, the waiter insisted several times that I could leave a tip by card — he asked me three times. Very unpleasant.
Mascotte, located near Montmartre, is a Parisian gem known for its exceptional oysters and escargots — and it absolutely lives up to its reputation.
The Brittany and Normandy oysters were incredibly fresh, meaty, and served on a bed of ice with lemon. Their pure, briny flavor paired perfectly with a glass of crisp champagne, making for an elegant and delicious start to the evening. The escargots, prepared with classic garlic-parsley butter, were rich, tender, and packed with flavor — exactly what you’d hope for from this French delicacy.
The restaurant itself is charming and atmospheric.
Be prepared to spend a bit more for a meal like this — high-quality seafood and timeless French dishes do come at a price. But the experience is well worth it.
The staff were amazing and very helpful!
