5/5 paws!! Delicious food! The live music, outdoor heaters and lighting created the perfect atmosphere! Love the funky dog signs all around and that we could bring our own old salty dog with us! Best onion rings of my life! The dipping sauce is a must! The only suggestion is a mocktail menu for those of us who aren’t drinking alcohol. That quesadilla salad was fire! My husband had the spicy fish soup and as someone who doesn’t like spicy things, I loved it!! We loved the lunch so much we went back for dinner! We will be returning soon!! This is a hidden gem!

Anyone who loves dogs must come here. It is a delight. In particular the people and the ambience are fantastic. Food is also delicious and reasonably priced. But the people are just incredibly nice. And it’s a wonderful place and owned by good dog people. The night I came they had excellent live music, and excellent non-live music on the speakers afterwards.
For food, I got the blackened grouper and grilled shrimp, and it was perfect. It’s hard to find a place that does grilled shrimp perfectly, and doesn’t overcook it. This was absolutely excellent.
Highly recommended overall. Very nice back patio and nice interior as well.

This is definitely a great place if you can find it LOL! Its kinda tucked behind a boat place with little to no signage. They close at 8pm just like most of the places around which is a bummer. They still took very good care of us and we made sure to finish before 8. Watching the moonrise was beautiful. The food is good. The fish and chips has a massive fillet of haddock which is a very bland fish but the seasoning of the breading was nice. The loaded salty dog is very tasty. I would recommend this place.

Loved loved loved this place. We stopped after grocery shopping. And we enjoyed the outside dining and the food tasted fantastic. Alan the live musician on 12/20/25 did a great job.

We had dinner here on a Sunday night. The tables were mostly full with large groups, so I had expected long delays in service. I was presently surprised that we had no longer waits, or server was wonderful and the food came out in a relatively timely manner. I like that the back side of the kids menu has “things to do” in the area for visitors with kids.
The ambiance of the restaurant was definitely the main feature. Nice marina views, and good live music.
The food was okay. The sauce selection was odd to me. My conch fritters came with marinara sauce which is weird. The coconut shrimp came with a raspberry jelly but I think that’s something semi-common in the Venice area (I’m accustom to a pineapple coconut sauce or sweet chili). Island tacos were good but shrimp was cold.

We had a good time here. The fish and chips was a nice cut of fish, and filling too. We also ordered battered and friend salmon, which I have not seen elsewhere. It was two thick, fatty pieces of meat cooked perfectly. Our server was very polite and proactive throughout our time here. While a dog didn’t accompany us, virtually everyone else on the deck had 1-3 dogs with them. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are not fond of dogs, but if you are it’s a perfect choice.

Was looking for a waterfront eating establishment… saw that it was rated 4+ stars. So we gave it a try. Place had a funky local vibe, looked clean and inviting. We sat outside, great weather and the atmosphere was laid back and relaxed! We liked that. Ordered a couple house signature drinks, they were OK, wife said she really couldn’t taste any alcohol in her drink mostly juice(shark bite) my margarita w/ corona floater was OK. Then it got annoying, “dog friendly”, NOT A big fan of restaurants that allow dogs. Especially when you have dogs that are barking at servers, other patrons, and just being annoying as hell. C’mon your dog doesn’t have to be with you at a restaurant, I get it, WE LOVE our dogs, but we understand that there is a time and place for them, a RESTAURANT is not it! Sorry…
Anyways, food was disappointing, wife’s order did not arrive as ordered. My fish wrap was mostly wrap and not much fish. Overall 2 stars, and was disappointed. I do not recommend this place.

Had their “original salty dog” hot dog.
It’s very interesting and quite yummy.
Hubby had the wings- spicy- which he enjoyed.
The only drawback- they had used old oil to fry the fries and so they tasted burnt and not great at all.
Also although the wings were tasty- the chicken was a bit old and tough.
Overall the Service was polite and the place itself is a nice place to visit.

The food was very good. I had to send back my BLT to crisp up the bacon. It was returned perfectly cooked. A bonus, they took the sandwich off our bill, along with the other BLT on our bill!

A somewhat hidden gem located in a marina just off the road in Venice.
Indoor and out door seating.
Great vibe.
Our server was attentive, kind and very personable.
Food was made fresh and served hot. Onion rings were crispy. Fries were crispy on the outside .. soft on the inside.
Chicken was yum.
Burgers were yum.
Ribs were yum.
Deep fried hot dog was yum.
Desserts were yum.
A bit pricey .. definitely worth the money.
