We ordered through DoorDash. It was Thanksgiving, and even through Cracker Barrel was open, DD, UberEats, and GrubHub all believed they were closed. So – we tried J&S Fresh. I’d rather support local anyway. We had the turkey and dressing, mashed potoes with gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce (from a can)roll, and shared coconut cream pie.
I didn’t read anything about the restaurant, reviews or anything. We just really wanted turkey and were staying in a hotel.
The dressing tasted like Stove-Top…. my only real complaint. Hubby thought the green beans were a little salty, but I liked them. I also liked the little bit of salt in the crust of the pie. The mashed potatoes were really good.
A little expensive for what we got, but, it was Thanksgiving.

Been visiting since I was too small to hold a tray. Always good food nice selection to choose from, always friendly service, and a good deal. It’s a cafeteria atmosphere. But the sounds bring back memories as much as the chocolate pie.

I used to love going to this restaurant, until today! The air conditioner was on so low it was warmer outside. Our food was cold before we even took the second bite. The food quality is not what it used to be. Our waitress not one time came to offer us a refill or see if we needed anything else. I had to get up and get my own to-go box to take my cold food home in that I had just spent $36 for and heated up in my microwave. Next time I’ll just go to the Moose Cafe over next to the farmers market. At least their quality of food is always top notch unlike J&S.

Delicious fresh food. Love the cafeteria style of picking out your food. Coffee makes me feel like I’m in the 1950’s. Love that this place is full of old normal people rather than some green haired Doamne ai mila’s. Old man Alex knows what he’s talking about when he recommended the white fish. I will be returning here regularly

First of all, I got a piece of chicken, dark meat, macaroni, carrots, okra, potato pie, and water and that was $19 not only whoever is cooking the chicken. Please stop that chicken was not cooked correctly. I don’t know if it’s too much bread batter I don’t know but find another way to fry the chicken or get somebody grandma in there to fry the chicken cause whoever is back there frying that chicken it’s not Right I won’t be back
