First time for Brunch! Perfect spot to go before a show at the Fox Theater. The Brown butter French toast with the pecan and caramel sauce was amazing. The bacon really good to and shareable. We also enjoyed some sparkling cocktails to kick off our day. Service was amazing

Moving reviews over from Yelp. I’ve been back a bunch of times but this was originally published on 9/11/17:

I found the “wow” I was looking for here thanks to Steven B. A group of us came in for dinner following a Yelp event that did not involve food (yes, it does happen from time to time) and had a great meal.

First up, I had a chicken wing. I tore it into 3 pieces so I could try each of the sauces. All are made in-house and extremely well crafted. My favorite was the szechuan. I really enjoyed the way the heat sneaks up on you about 30 seconds after it first hits your palate.

Next up was their burger. It is a couple of patties of nicely seasoned beef with gooey cheese and crispy fried onions on a griddle-toasted pretzel bun. About as perfect as a burger can be! They served a barbeque sauce and a mustard sauce on the side but neither touched my burger although I did dip a few fries and enjoyed both. Note: you better be hungry if you order their burger. It is no joke…and no, you won’t have room for dessert.

I feel as though I need to dig deeper into their menu now…

Amazing place with great food! Went for brunch for a birthday , food here was good. But the potatoes wedges and waffles were spectacular! Those were the best wedges I ever had. Chicken and waffles was great, even the waffle with strawberry coulis and the most delicious whipped cream. The savory food was alright. Their espresso machine was broken which was sad. Overall, it was a nice experience.

I had a large group and we tried a little of everything. The spatzle was the most surprising menu item. A few people didn’t know what it was, and while I love spatzle, I’ve never had it that good. The deviled eggs were some of the best I’ve ever had, and I have had deviled eggs in hundreds of different places. The French onion soup was very good. I had the salmon and it was just incredible. The tuna poke appetizer was the most unique tuna poke I’ve probably ever had. Maybe not the absolute best, but just a wild flavor that was very new and different.

People will think I’m making this up if I only praise the dishes, so there were a few that weren’t perfect. Three people had the steak and all of them said it was fine, not amazing. It’s not the end of the world, but I would probably avoid that.

Absolutely want to go back again! Excellent meal!

The perfect place to celebrate a special occasion! Excellent, attentive service but low key and unobtrusive. The menu had something for everyone, and the entrees was beautifully plated and as delicious as they looked. The wine menu was lovley and the cocktails were interesting. I enjoyed the Bourbon Murray. We may have found a new fave in St. Louis!

The meal was absolutely delicious. We didn’t know we should have reservations but we were able to get the table in the bar area. Definitely enjoyed the place and would return many times!

Absolutely delish drinks and food. We went for brunch and it didn’t disappoint! Probably the best chicken and waffles I have ever had ever. If we went again we’d order two three different items and share. Huge portions!

This place is phenomenal! Highly recommend the chicken and waffles, the spice level was well balanced! The biscuits and gravy and the shrimp and grits were all great as well. The bottomless mimosas were also a hit.

We really enjoyed the food here! We went around 10am on Sunday so the restaurant was fully booked but we got a seat at the bar. It was a lot of dirty plates and drinks stacked next to me being on the end and it seemed to be there area where staff congregated to talk which was a little distracting. But would definitely go again, the food was fantastic. I guess I would recommend a reservation if you plan to go during peak brunch times – there was not even an option for wait, just full besides the bar.

Very intimate lighting and decent service. Food options not too great. Not vegetarian friendly. Pricing could’ve been better. I left this establishment feeling unfulfilled and not satisfied with the food. I ordered mushroom risotto for main entree and French fries for appetizer with a punch cocktail. I was very sick after trying to stomach the risotto. I will not be returning.
