Great portions of fresh sushi and other Japanese and Asian foods. Can be busy at tables, so bar seating can prevail for solo diners and intimate couples. Friendly staff. Good selection of wine, beers, sake, soft drinks. Ice cream dessert is terrific. Easy to share, as scooped portions are huge. In a Mall type environment with ample free parking. Worth a stop when looking for alternatives to beef, BBQ, or American fried foods.

Tonight, Not the first time but second time forgetting to put the Spicy mayo, on the SPICY California rolls. Which you get charged for EXTRA, other wise I would’ve ordered regular California rolls, and paid the simple charge on my order.
I get home and it’s now about to close. So there’s nothing I can do.
It just sucks after spending a great amount of money for food, driving to pick it up and not receiving what you’re paying for.

I enjoy coming here, the staff is very attentive and friendly. I typically order the same things when I visit. Seafood soup, sushi/sashimi, kani or taco salad. I enjoy their cucumber salad which has a hint of wasabi. I have tried the hamachi kama a couple of times and it’s been a meal each time. If you sit at the bar, you might take a little coat or jacket because it’s like a wind tunnel under the vent. Can’t complain on hot days though. Give them a try, they have a variety of dishes.

Good food and good service. I love that they gave my little one chopsticks he could use. The sashimi is good but their unagi don is bomb! We didn’t care for the curry udon. They have lots of roll choices so there’s something for everyone.

I don’t know what all these other people are talking about. This place is small, dark and dingy, and the food is NOT that good. Beware of the“fried tempura seafood”. Some of ours was fried exoskeleton. Crunchy indeed. The kids noodles and chicken tasted like burnt wok. The bathrooms had no hand soap and when I told them about it and went back, they had taken the bag out of the dispenser and laid it on the counter for people to squeeze out the last of it.
We went once last year and had a similar experience but thought we would give it another try. We won’t be back ever. Lesson learned! For $112 We can find much better.

I’d rate it zero stars if that were possible. Service was lackluster. The food was cold, I was asked how I wanted my steak cooked I said medium. It came out well done. Sushi was super mid. Best thing on the menu was the fried cheesecake. Won’t be back ever.

The food is good, but the service and management is terrible. First, we were seated before 4pm which is when the lunch special ended but by the time they took our order it was after 4pm and they were wanting to try and make it seem like we couldn’t get the lunch prices. We explained the situation and they, seemingly reluctantly, agreed to give the lunch price.
When ordering a combo sushi roll meal that included a cucumber roll, California roll, and spicy tuna roll, I asked if I could swap out the spicy tuna roll for a regular tuna (which their menu shows is cheaper). I wasn’t asking to upgrade to a more expensive item, and I wasn’t asking them to change the price of the combo. I just wanted to change out one item for a cheaper one based on personal preference. They would only do it for an up charge and wouldn’t budge.
I didn’t wind up ordering anything after that exchange and not sure how soon I’ll be going back.

Great place for sushi. Started with green tea and seaweed salad. Then tried the 80 degrees roll and the Christmas tree roll. Everything was good and delicious. Service was very good. Interior was nice and comfortable. I enjoyed dining here.

We go to Volcano a lot but this particular time they served us sour fish…. We ordered a different sushi after that and still charged us for that roll. I was a little disappointed as much as loyal as we have been. Hopefully we don’t get sick!
