Great service! Large restaurant with good service. Everything is so clean, salad bar and dessert displays are nice and clean. Lunch was delicious. The shrimp Monterrey was SO GOOD! The onions rings too! I enjoyed every minute of lunch.

I really enjoy these off-the-interstate Texas towns. Love these non-franchise cafes.

Breakfast (bacon & eggs) was great and Diana our server couldn’t have been nicer.

Cafe located in historic building just across the street from the Mason County Courthouse.

Gorgeous place! High ceilings, exposed stone walls, floor to ceiling windows on one wall. Cafe in front, bar and more seating in the back.

I love their omelets, crispy bacon, chicken fried steak dinners, burgers and onion rings. Fresh & homemade, never frozen food. Y’all, they know how to cook!!

They do offer a small salad bar. Cole slaw was so good. Wished they had more salad topping options.

Great restaurant!!! The service was friendly and fast. The food was outstanding!! We had the senior chicken fried steak with grilled veggies. The steaks were hot and crispy and the gravy was perfect. We also had a hamburger and chips. It was delicious!! The iced tea was cold and fresh.

It’s okay. Decent burger in a cute small town. I don’t know that I’d come back again. Not bad by any means but it didn’t feel super fresh.

Amazing portions great food and a creepy Halloween atmosphere…This is a must go to if you are in Mason…ADA wheelchair accessible. Staff is so friendly they seem more like your own family. The chicken tenders were so large and moist and perfectly fried… the tacos used real nice lettuces vs cheap iceburg lettuce. It’s all those fine little things that makes this place a must go. Take a look at all the pies and cakes that are baked there…I ended up buying the House Rojas sauce that they bottled. There is a bench in front for furry families members. ❤️ ❤️ photos included.

Out on a motorcycle ride and was looking for a light lunch on a warm day. After all it is Texas. The BLT was tasty and the kitchen understood light mayo very well. Ice tea was cold and just right sweet. The best part was the buttermilk pecan pie. Delicious.

Great food! Big portions too. The hamburger steak was so delicious. My husband had the fried steak fingers and the portions were huge! Salad bar had 2 kinds of lettuce and the typical fixings. Sweet potato fries were super crispy. I subbed the cream gravy for brown and just about licked the bowl it was so good. Everyone at our table loved the yeast rolls… Maybe even worth buying to take home! Couldn’t leave without trying the pecan pie, it lived up to its reputation. Will be back!
