I apologize for the horrid pic, it doesn’t do the food justice. I ordered the loaded M-22 burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was huge, literally cooked to perfection (medium rare) and loaded with sautéed onions, thousand island, and chopped pickles!! It was soooo good! The large portion of sweet potato fries were bomb as well!
Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. I’m only in Sutton’s Bay for a month, but I’ll definitely be back.

We dropped into Boone’s Pub for lunch on a beautiful Fall Saturday. If you’ve never been here, the first thing you notice is a large, open bar typically packed with a nice mix of locals and visitors. The vibe is fresh, the TVs are on (happened to be college football for us) and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. My wife and I started with the Arizona Eggrolls. Let me forewarn you……NOT ordering these would be a massive mistake! Definitely homemade, flaky crust with savory stuffings (we ate all but one before I took the pic, apologies). They had a whitefish special which my wife ordered as a sandwich and I as an entree. Mine came with a side salad which was crisp, plenty of tomatos and shredded cheese. We both ordered sweet potato fries with our meals (I asked for “crispy”) and they came out perfect, highly recommend them. The whitefish, provided by a local vendor (Carlsons of Leland) was over fried and came out a bit dry. However, we plan on visiting again in the near future.

I tried the Western burger, and let me tell you — it did not disappoint. The burger was tender, juicy, and definitely handmade. I ordered it rare, and they nailed it — perfectly cooked, not overdone like so many other places try to pass off as “rare.” The flavors were delicious — smoky, savory, and perfectly complemented by the toppings. It’s rare to find a place that actually knows how to cook a burger properly, and they hit it out of the park. I left feeling completely satisfied and already planning my next visit. This is hands-down a spot every burger lover needs to check out.

We had two Hawaiian chicken meals with water. The meals were $25.00 a piece, and the chicken was three grilled chicken tenders for $25.00! Extremely overpriced for what it is. I added a picture of the receipt because I think it’s a little shady that, in small print, it tells you they are adding 3% because of the rising prices. Why not put it in the food price? Sketchy!

Walked in at 5:30 and got seated just in time before the dinner rush. Had a wonderful bowl of clam chowder and the roast beef dip sandwich and of course had to try their famous onion rings! Food tasted great but should have been warmer! Our waitress was friendly and prompt.

Tried this place out on Saturday night for dinner. The burgers and onion rings are super good! Cod fish was okay! Small inside but great views! Old school vibe. Going to try this place out in the summer! The roof top looks fun to sit out on a summer day! Happy hour specials everyday! Service was great too!

Everything was phenomenal, the fries were amazing, sweet potato and regular. The burger was hefty and juicy, and the fried fish was crisp and delightful. By far the best thing we experienced was the soup! We had the Reuben soup, complete with rye croutons in it for a spectacularly flavorful crunch. My only regret is not getting more soup to go! The only thing I could improve would be the ribs. While they were fall apart cooked beautifully, the sauce is simply sweet baby rays, nothing made in house. That aside, the fireplace was warm and inviting, and it was hard to stop smiling while sitting near it. An absolute must go to if you’re in the area.

Cozy, cabin like interior with fireplace in fall/winter. Typical bar food, burgers, fried fish. World class onion rings! Usually a couple of home made soups. They do have an Impossible Burger option. Small roof deck for summer with view of the water. Nice people. Popular with locals.
