The only thing right was the food. The floor and tables were dirty. McDonald’s apparently is hostile towards dine-in customers. The tables are inconvenienty small, chairs are fastened to the floor. The chair I found myself in was so far from the comically small table that my knees weren’t under the table. As if I want parts of my sandwich to spill on my lap. Despite saying I was dining in, my order was bagged. The attendant at the register looked at me like I grew a second head when I asked for ketchup since there is no ketchup avaliable in the lobby. I just took my food out to my truck since the environment is unwelcoming. The whole experience of dining at this McDonald’s sums up what is wrong with the company as a whole: contempt for the customer. This location doesn’t want dine-in customers so I’ll gladly accommodate them.

Never again! The bathrooms were out of toilet paper, The condiment area was out of napkins, ketchup and salt. The kiosk was out of paper so weren’t sure of what our order number was. Also we didn’t receive two our three drinks. We just said to heck with it and left. I wish I would have read the reviews before we stopped.

The food quality is decent at best the freshness isn’t always the best I’ve had some Mcchicken sandwiches where the chicken patty was rough like it was sitting on the cooker to long the other sandwiches where more fresh and the chicken was better and sometimes the sandwich’s no matter what you get are put together sloppy like they don’t seem to care about presentation and being a holts summit resident for almost 3 years it doesn’t surprise me on the things that can happen at this McDonald’s location and honestly I don’t think that management seems to care either because if they really did this location would be a whole lot better and I mean a whole lot better.

I originally give this place a one star due to our first visit. We are from out of town and made a stop at the Holts Summit McDonald’s for lunch. When I walked in they were not busy and had only one other person eating at one of their tables. We ordered a Big Mac and Quarter Lb with fries. We decided to eat in since we still had a long drive to our destination. Trying to find a clean table was a challenge since every table we came across had either food or drink spills on table tops. Once seated we had to wait for food longer than usual since we had not made any special request. When order came out we began to eat; after finishing half of my Big Mac sandwich I noticed it seemed different and looked inside to find one hamburger patty not two hamburger patties which usually comes with a Big Mac. That was a first and decided not to big deal and finished our meal then left.
Several days later we decided to try this place again to give another try. Ordered breakfast this time and had their sausage egg muffin. No problems this time and the place seemed cleaner. I believe there was a manager on staff then because she was making sure tables were cleaned and orders came out faster. When we were there the first time I did not see a manager so maybe the staff had more of a lackadaisical approach when not supervised. This place needs a good manager to keep staff accountable and seemed to be running smoother on our return. Not sure when we will be back but glad the second time was better than our first time.
Bathrooms were not as tidy but were efficient. Baby changing station in handicap stall.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this location has earned it.
I’ve lived in Holts Summit for four years, and somehow this McDonald’s manages to get worse every time. The drive-thru regularly takes 30 minutes for food that’s supposed to be “fast.” The ice cream machine is NEVER working (at this point it feels intentional). And when you finally get your order, the service shows zero urgency and the food quality is consistently terrible.
I honestly question my own judgment for continuing to come back. I always tell myself it’ll be quick or convenient, and it never is. If disappointment were on the menu, this place would have it perfected.

Stopped on the way home to stretch our legs, use the restroom and walk the dogs before ordering something to eat. There were 2 employees outside smoking, one came out twice while we were there. Restrooms were nasty. Toilet paper roll in women’s was on hook on back of the door. Looked like it fell and rolled on the floor a couple of times. We ordered at the drive thru and had to wait along with 7 other vehicles for our order about 15 minutes. The employee that came out with orders had to ask each person what they ordered. The spicy chicken wasn’t spicy, it was hard and dry with a dab of sauce, not sure There was lettuce on it. The cheeseburgers were so full of ketchup you tasted nothing else. In my opinion Management needs to be reviewed at this location. I feel sorry for the young people working there, a poor example is being set for them.

This was the worse run McDonalds I’ve ever seen. The whole place was dirty including bathrooms and tables. There was water on the floor, the temperature was very hot and the employees didn’t bother cleaning up any messes behind the counter. See pictures for reference. We left when we were planning to eat in.

Waited for ever on the drive thru so I went in and my Oder have been sitting on there counter getting cold. I told them my food was cold and I wanted fresh food. They made new food got it home , fish was not done, quarter pounder with cheese had no cheese. McRib was cold. This place needs to find some good hard working people or close their doors. It’s fast food , not hard.

Ordered on the app and went in to pick up. Staff was helping make a special order for an older woman and treated her so kindly. Then they were cheerfully teasing each other. My order was handed to me with a big smile.

A lady walked by the drink machine and dumped her glass of ice into the top part, prob where they fill with ice so obviously no lid on their either as her ice went right in!!! Someone else will now be getting her ice! Beyond Gross!!!
