We had a fantastic meal at Chuck’s Steakhouse. We chose the Best of Alberta three-course meal, which is a really great deal for the amount of food you get. The appetizers were tasty. The steaks were the real standouts, cooked perfectly and so flavourful on their own with just the provided flaky salt. We had the mud pie for dessert and, as a chocolate ice cream lover, it was a real treat. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, though be warned that it can be a bit hard to hear each other at times with how lively and loud the room gets.

The steak and dessert were absolutely delicious, but the rest of the dishes were disappointing and didn’t feel cohesive at all.
I would recommend coming here just for the steak.

the service didn’t quite match the standard you would expect at this price range. It felt a bit inattentive at times.
While the main dish was very satisfying on its own, the other courses and the overall service really brought down the dining experience.

Had an incredible experience at Chuck’s! They had a special on that included an appetizer, steak, three sides, and dessert, which was an amazing value for the quality and portions. We also ordered the tableside Caesar and mushrooms, plus a bottle of wine. The steak was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the I’ve had. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner after a day in the mountains. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend for anyone craving a great steak in a warm, welcoming setting.

We had dinner at Chuck’s our last night in Banff after several people recommended it. It did not disappoint! Chucks was the best meal we had our entire trip. From the minute we walked in we were treated like royalty. We had just gotten married and they made a point to acknowledge that with complimentary bubbles and over the top service.
Our server Tommy was incredible! He was the best server we have had at any restaurant and we travel a lot. He recommended an amazing Canadian wine and made the experience memorable.
We got the burrata, table side Caesar, and the Ribeye-all not to be missed! Also the banana cream pie was one of the best desserts we have ever had!
We had dinner at the highly recommended 1888 chophouse the night prior to this and there was no comparison. We would come back to Chuck’s over and over!

Me and my wife wanted to spend our anniversary at a nice steakhouse and we did not go wrong with Chucks. Made a reservation and we arived 15 mins early and they got us a seat right away. In no time Jess, our server, was there with a smile on her face. She was the absolute best, very friendly, helpful and prompt. After we ordered, the food was on our table in no time and it was exceptional. The Wagyu tenderlion was the best steak we have ever eaten and was cooked to perfection. The sides were portioned well and tasted excellent. There was a good selection of alcohol and Jess was very fast at getting our drinks to us and refilling our water without even asking. After the meal they even offered a desert on the house for our occasion. The whole experience was amazing and very relaxing. Not rushed at all. We would recommend everyone to try the steaks here and to go to Chuck’s if ever given the oppurtunity.

Lets say we had a nice experience here, the food is excellent, the stake came midium done, exactly as we requested it, the customer service was excellent, the lady who attend us was so kind and courteous.
Despite of this, I feel the price of the food is a little overpriced, honestly I would not pay for this again.
Also, we had a particular situation, when we arrive to the restaurant the environment was chill and I can hear the country music and talk with my wife, however in an instant a group of tourist came into the next table and they were basically screaming to comunicate each other, this was very anoying and we stop enyojing our dinner.

Super happy with my experience at Chucks! A beautiful view and the beef was unreal, we ordered the prime sirloin and prime rib as suggested by the waiter. We also got 3 sides, French fries, broccolini and mushrooms. I would say mushrooms were the least favorite, expected more flavour as it’s was just cooked in butter. Highly recommend!!

This was such a positive experience! The food we ordered was so yummy. You could just tell that the meat quality was up there. Our server Caleb needs a huge shoutout for his exceptional customer service, and welcoming energy!
The restaurant staff went out of their way to make sure we got a patio seating!
Please don’t get discouraged if you see that there are no reservations. Give them a call and I guarantee that they will try to accommodate you. They were able to get us in on such short notice!
