The food was fantastic! Beautiful interior, authentic taste and vibe. The waitstaff was helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend you check it out. Try the tree leches, best in Denver. The portions are large, plenty to share.

The Real Deal: 25 Years of Miami Standards Met in Castle Rock

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Having lived in Miami for 25 years, my bar for Cuban food isn’t just high—it’s personal. I’ve spent decades eating at the staples in Little Havana and Hialeah, and I’ll be honest: finding that same soul in Colorado is usually impossible. Cuba Cuba in Castle Rock is the exception. I have eaten here numerous times and have worked my way through a good portion of the menu. From the first bite to the last sip of a mojito, the authenticity is staggering. This isn’t a “Colorado-fied” version of Cuban food; it’s the real thing.

The Food & Drink:
Whether it’s the perfectly pressed Sandwich Cubano, the tender Ropa Vieja, or the Lechon Asado that tastes exactly like it came out of a family kitchen in the 305, the flavors are spot on. Even the starters, like the Mariquitas and Croquetas, have the exact texture and seasoning I grew up with. The bar program is equally impressive, with rums and cocktails that aren’t just sugary drinks, but true Caribbean classics.

The Vibe & Service:
What really sets this place apart is the Miami aesthetic. The atmosphere is vibrant and hip without trying too hard, capturing that specific energy you usually only find on Calle Ocho or in Doral.

Today, Trevor took care of me, and I have to give him a huge shoutout. The service here mirrors that welcoming, high-energy hospitality I remember from home. Trevor was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless.

Bottom Line:
If you’re looking for a lunch or dinner spot that transports you straight back to the islands, this is it. It’s the only place in the area that truly makes me feel like I’m back home. I honestly couldn’t think of a better place to eat.

Great food at a reasonable price. The appetizer Mariquitas Cuba Cuba was a great start. The plantain chips were quite tasty with the sauces and guacamole provided. The Empanadas were wonderful. Recommend one of each offered on the menu. The Sandwich Cubano was exactly what I was hoping for-good portion of meat and cheese cooked perfectly.

Hands down the best customer service from our server, ELI!!! He held the door open for us, sat us down right away (during lunch rush), asked us what we wanted to drink right away, brought our drinks and took our order. He was very kind and had a great vibe!!! We had a quick question about a food item and he did not hesitate with an answer. Our food was delicious and Eli was great at checking in with us and bringing us refills without asking. He was very friendly and we will be back to try two more items on the menu. Best fries ever – yum

Great food, great service, great location. What more can you ask for? Everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection. As a call out, our group loves garlic, which was great since many of the dishes has minced garlic, but be aware if you’re not a fan. Give them a try!

Our first time ever at a Cuban restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We had the Ropa Vieja, Sandwich Cubano, Hatuey Cuban and Cafecito. I loved the Cubano so much and the beef in the Ropa Vieja was impeccable. Great service and such a pretty little place with even prettier plates. Can’t wait to visit again!

Amazing food and service that makes me want to come back daily. Eli was phenomenal and had great suggestions for food and drink. My friend and I loved everything he recommended. I wish more places cared this much about food quality and service, I will continue to support Cuba Cuba, Eli and the chefs are the reason.

I love Cuba Cuba! These guys are clearly passionate about food and friendly service. I had my divorce party there recently. The waitress was fantastic and on board with all our shenanigans. I’m moving out of Colorado tomorrow and met with multiple friends on different occasions. The food is Delicious. I’ve never received anything mediocre. The service is friendly, proactive, and knowledgeable. Thanks kindly to Eli for making my last Colorado meal fantastic!

First off—shoutout to our fun & spunky waitress Leia who was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive and even caught a little hiccup with our to-go order before we even noticed (seriously, lifesaver ).

I went with my go-to, the ropa vieja juicy, tender perfection every single time, paired with their signature rice & beans. Comfort food goals. My hubby locked in on his all-time fave, the media noche sandwich, and let me just say… from the soft flaky bread to that savory filling, he was living for every bite. And of course, no trip here is complete without the legendary mojo fries crispy, zesty, and dangerously addictive. We took it all down with a fresh squeezed cooba lemonade and pina coloada bringing us back to the isla de cuba

If you haven’t been to Cuba Cuba yet, you are 100% missing out! Step out of your comfort zone, try something new, and trust me you won’t be disappointed. ✨
