My bf and I randomly found this place on a day trip to Calgary. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff, great service, good prices on top of good food! Everything we ate was delicious! The interior is really cool with an open roof concept and traditional paintings with every wall looking different but not chaotic, it’s calming. I highly recommend the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Ikusa!

My fiancé and I went on Valentines day without a reservation (I did try to make one but had no reply) and they were very accommodating even with how busy it was. I always search for the best flavours in japanese cousine and I must say this takes the gold. We ordered 2 bowls or ramen, thin and thick noodles, takoyaki, sushi and rolls and WOW if we were impressed with how fast it showed at our table and everything was delicious. The ramen was a massive 10/10 we were so in love with it we kept talking about it after. Price wise was good, for both of us with drinks and food was $80 plus tip. I promise it’s WORTH IT TO GO.

Really enjoyed our visit! The pork broth was rich and flavorful and really hit the spot on a cold winter day. We also enjoyed the chicken and beef skewers that we tried. I did feel the beef was just slightly overdone and the portion of pork in the ramen was a bit skimpy. Other than that the food was great.
Service was prompt and friendly and it’s a fun atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

Ordered the LOBSTER ROLL, got charged for it and it did not look like the one from their menu. Disappointing, its missing the meat on top of the sushi. They just added way too much orange fish eggs to make it look like its the lobster. Picture on their menu vs what we got. rip off.

I can’t even count how many times I’ve been here and I have never once been disappointed! The staff are awesome, and the manager, Vincent, is awesome and so friendly! I come here every Friday and always get the amazing lunch ramen. All food here is amazing!! The atmosphere is awesome and the paintings on the wall are very cool! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant!! Especially if you want some good Japanese food!!

Not the world’s best sushi but for a quick cheaper eat it was pretty good. The selection was good offering lots of different seafood including raw and cooked fish but also cooked food such as Ramen and grilled meat. It has something for everybody. The one thing that it was quite busy and loud on a friday night. As a neurodivergent person this was not the most friendly atmosphere but overall good.
