Everything was better than I expected. The service, the selection, the overall experience. Atmosphere wasn’t awful, would have been nice to have lights outside to see the landscaping, otherwise a stellar dinner! I recommend the duck with a glass of red wine.

This was our first visit to Dalles House and we were not disappointed! The ambiance, the music, the staff, and oh my the food! Everything was more than I was expecting. Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic! We will be back; it’ll probably be a new tradition to come from the cities. I love the classic supper club vibe and the decor is stunning. Sparkly ceilings, retro sconces, beautiful wallpaper, and those wine velvet chairs! The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and especially our server Christian, he gave us some really nice recommendations. The food was unique, fresh, and delicious! Do not miss out on this fabulous place! Oh, and try the fun drinks too.

From the moment I walked in the door I was so impressed! The host on a Saturday night was a tall man, so charismatic— so good at his job!! He made the experience magical— we had a fabulous server and everything we tried was a serious 10/10!! We started with calamari (best calamari I’ve ever had), finished with salads, delicious pop overs, a ribeye cooked to perfection paired with deep fried jumbo shrimp and a side of mushrooms for my steak. Absolutely divine dining at the Dallas House on a Saturday night!

The atmosphere here is amazing! From the host to the dessert tray! When you order steak, it is delivered to your table by someone in a heavy, brown leather apron. So cool… Steaks are amazing! Definitely go, definitely make reservations. Love The Dalles House!

Honestly the best food I’ve had in recent history! We went there 3 times in 2 days. The staff is so enthusiastic and joyful! The host (Ross) is super fun and a great singer (for birthdays). The second waiter Cam was awesome and super quick, he was fun and always on top of it. Our waiter Dorothy was super awesome and extremely nice and knowledgeable. I will come here again if I ever get back in this area.

The bar is a casual environment to sit and eat. You can order off the same menu as the restaurant, as well as a smaller menu with bar food options not on the main restaurant menu.
We had a very personable server, who was very attentive to ensuring we were having a good experience. We went on a Sunday at about 4:00 p.m., and it wasn’t very busy. The sound level was low in the bar area. There’s a water feature indoors, so there’s a smell of chlorine when you walk in to the bar, so if you are sensitive, beware.

Highly recommend this space, it is full of history with the original restaurant existing since the 1800s. The atmosphere is full of character and feels very art deco.
Service was exceptional and we got to meet the chef who was an absolute delight.
We had their Sunday brunch and it was amazing. So many options from scrambled eggs, build your own salad, chicken, mashed potatoes (which were my favorite, so good), and omg the desserts!
Definitely check them out!

My first experience at Dalles House was a pleasant surprise. It started with the atmosphere were there is a waterfall in the old school bar. They also have seating in a gorgeous courtyard with gardens and a pond. They have an area for live music (but guessing they don’t schedule music on Monday nights.)
They food all looked good with fish, steak, lobster, salads, and some tasty burgers with fries….I stuck with the burger which I thought was good. They have a full bar with a decent beer list. My service was fast and friendly. I definitely plan to go back and try more on the menu.

This place is a hidden gem. Outstanding food, Service and it’s beautiful. We were in Taylors Falls, which is just across the river for three nights and we ate at this restaurant twice. Unheard of from my husband and I. The prices are really good the food really good And the garden outside is beautiful. I definitely recommend getting to this place. Definitely get the popovers.
