It was our first time here, and we came because we received a gift card for Christmas. We arrived on a Friday afternoon, and the place was very empty. You can order either at a kiosk or at the counter. One of the staff members was being trained, so we ended up learning the menu at the same time.
The restaurant focuses primarily on tacos. We ordered the hot queso, pulled pork taco, and grilled chicken taco. The flavors were very good, but unfortunately, the tacos were served cold.
We ended the evening on a high note with delicious churros served with cajeta on the side, along with a peanut butter cookie to go, which was excellent.
The place has a great design, both inside and outside, and the restrooms were very clean. By the time we were leaving, the restaurant had become very busy, so early dinners are probably the best option.
The value feels a bit overpriced for what you get, but it could still be worth a second visit. Well done overall.

It is extremely hard to get good service these days. I have been to Torchy Taco in the past and the lastest experience did not compare to the first. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location of any other one for that matter. Let’s start off with the positive, the young lady who took our order was wonderful! After having our order taken is where the disappointment began. It was not busy and it was a few hours before closing. I ordered The Bonfire Bowl, it came out to the table and it looked ok but when I took the first spoon full I noticed something crunchy in it. I realized it was the rice, it was scraped from the bottom of a pan of burnt old rice. They had no problem replacing it until the “mamager” came over and explained that they were out of rice, obviously the reason why I received the horrible rice from the beginning. If I had been told that from the beginning before they try to pass off the bad rice things would have turned out a little better. As we left the restaurant we noticed the trash overflow. If we had noticed that when we walked in we would have turned around and not considered eating there. Disgusting conditions!

Unfortunately this location has gone down hill completely. Our order took forever to come to our table even though there were very few people at the time we went. The cleanliness of the dining area is really disappointing and made me nervous to think how clean the kitchen must be. There was trash on the floor, and the tables were not cleaned thoroughly and were sticky.
Our order came out and the food looked nothing like the menu picture. Granted, this happens in other places, but there was a glaring difference.
It was disappointing to see a place we used to enjoy run so inefficiently and with little to no care of keeping a clean environment.

I used to love going to torchys but after today’s experience i don’t think i will ever go back. Service was horrible and the food quality has plummeted. We had ordered the taco of the month-the cowboy- and it didn’t even come with all the ingredients it was suppose to come with. They are cheaping out on their sauces-when asked about the sauce the server said they had put it on the taco but clearly there was no sauce on there so we had to ask for extra sauce on the side. The restaurant was not busy but we had to wait 30 mins for our order which was only 4 tacos and a side of rice. A large group came after us and were served their food before us and when we told the lady who took our order she started giving us attitude and saying it takes time to cook food. I understand it takes time but why was someone that came after us get served their food before us if it takes time to “cook” food. The rice we ordered was undercooked and it tasted like we were eating raw rice. If i could give this place 0 stars i would for todays experience.

I live about 45 minutes away from this location but I was in the area coming from an appointment. Stopped in to grab dinner for myself and my son to bring back home. First thoughts when walking in there was a smell that gave public restroom really weird odor. The staff was really nice helping with my order since I was having trouble at the kiosk. The kiosk is a great option if you don’t want to add or remove anything as that option is not available. We ordered our food at 6:32PM. At 6:50 I’m asking what’s going on as there’s a lot of people waiting they assured me my order was getting prepared. Literally everyone that was waiting for food has received their order while I still waited. Finally at 7:15 my order was brought out. At this point I’m frustrated from waiting over 45 minutes for food check the order and it’s missing a sauce. I asked to make it trashy and literally nobody acted like they knew what I was talking about. Told me the cheese on top was making it trashy. I didn’t pay extra to not get what I intended and I am not new to Torches I know good and well what making it trashy should look like. I was just too frustrated to wait another who knows how long to fix it. I took my food and headed home as it was already getting late and I had no idea it would have taken that long to get food. The entire experience has left me totally disappointed.

This location is bad more times than it is good. Ordered 4 tacos, queso and beans – all cold. Tortillas were stiff and could tell they were either old or never heated. Ingredients were all cold and missing on some. Asked for no raw onions on one taco because of a severe allergy and it’s if they added more on purpose (see picture). We have given this location multiple tries but have been disappointed almost every time. We’re done.

The bartender Sabrina is the sweetest and most attentive worker here! She checks in with you multiple times to make sure everything is going well and you’re satisfied with your food/drinks. Definitely come see her for happy hour!!!

Man this place is Soo good! I was surprised how much they pack into those tacos, but you definitely get your money’s worth! The only reason I took a star away is because they need to have more mild options for those not inclined to have heat in every bite lol, I know it’s called torchy’s but still lol! It’s still good without the heat (I basically have to make all of mine mild and I forgot once and paid dearly for it lol) but otherwise it’s good, a great place to eat (I went right after work so not to busy around 6pm during the week) was able to get in and get a drink and sit down to eat fairly quickly. Will definitely be going back soon!
