10/5/25 – my husband and I stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon on our way home to Cleveland for a quick bite and we were so happy we did! The place was very clean, inviting, and ample space indoor and outdoor on the patio. We ordered the fried pickle appetizer, cowboy burger, chicken tender dinner, 2 coffees, a mudslide, 2 blueberry vodka smashes, and the cast iron cookie pan desert for $90 total! We had an incredible server (cannot remember her name but young with long blonde hair) who was awesome and accommodating to our every need without being overbearing. Food was perfect and exactly what we needed! No complaints. We visit our friend’s farm in Marysville every year and this place will definitely be our stop on our way home from here on out 🙂

We loved going here but ever since Joe i guess the manager came on who was insanely rude to us on the phone. We had an issue with the food provided to us it was mush and overcooked . So we called and told them how bad it was and Joe doesn’t even call back just refunds one of the orders when we ordered two. I then call and tell them why wasn’t the other one refunded and the girl on the phone says Im asking for 3 (which i said 2) and Joe gets all snippy i can literally hear them talking about us on the phone . Extremely rude and unbelievably unprofessional! You don’t talk about a customer that way. We honestly just wanted it remade for another time but he just blew us off and said I’ll refund you which we would have rather had the food.
We live in Marengo and come to boondocks often but this form of management is horrific! I hope the owners see this and either replace or talk to Joe as this was absolutely unacceptable how he spoke to us and also speaking about us on the phone while we can hear him.
On top of it when we told him we called that night he got snippy and said “well why didn’t you just come back and get it remade” and i told him it was 9:30pm at night …. Thankfully took photos of the food as well.

Food and service were amazing! We ordered the french onion soup, firecrackers, fish and chips, and stromboli. The firecrackers stood out the most! So good. Our server was very nice and patient with us and helped us make decisions on what to get since it was our first time there. We never ran out of our drinks! I was very impressed since it was a full house. The only thing slightly negative was it was loud, but not terrible, didn’t ruin our time or anything. We visited on a saturday night, so it was as to be expected. Overall very good experience and will be coming back!

First time here. We are from the South and in OH working. Food was pretty good. Fried pickles are spears. (That was different but delicious) my husband had the special (steak) it was delicious as well. I had Boo dock Salad with pork on top it was really yummy too. The atmosphere was open and spacious but was Smokey from a grill? Not sure. Overall we really enjoyed everything!

This was a cool little bar and restaurant and the food was so yummy! Walking in we immediately made comments about the unique decor, there is something to look at in every direction. The servers and bar tenders were so friendly and helpful, you could just tell they enjoyed their job and their interactions with their patrons. We were given recommendations about dishes and the waitress checked in often. It was clear the guests were mostly regular customers and the relaxed environment was comfortable for conversing with friends or just hanging out. I met a friend and we stayed quite a while just visiting without feeling rushed. I would definitely visit again!

Fun atmosphere and delicious food! Our sweet waitress was quite busy but did her best keeping up with our table and keeping up a great attitude! The pulled pork Mac n cheese is phenomenal and the dumpster fries have no business being as good as they are!

Food was terrible! Music so loud you couldn’t hear the person setting next to you. We seated ourselves and 3 waitresses just stood behind the counter. I guess they was trying to figure out who was gonna move first. Had the mac n cheese with pulled pork and it smelled so bad I couldn’t eat it! Fish dinner look good. Ordered nachos with hamburger meat and it maybe had a tablespoon of meat on it. I will say it was warm inside! Hope it gets better. Don’t know how this joint has a 4.2 rating
