There wasn’t much variety of meat, only a few options to choose from, and the quality was quite average. There were no desserts available, just a small ice cream at the end. The value for money wasn’t great.
The price was moderate, and the dining time was limited to 2 hours.
The ventilation was poor, and there was a lot of smoke. The staff were quite proactive in changing the grill plates, which is commendable.
The environment was very noisy; the person sitting across from me had to shout to be heard, otherwise, it was impossible to hear them, and talking was exhausting.

Thirsty Cow is a total game-changer for Korean BBQ. Seriously, the quality of the meat is off the charts. The marbling on the beef is insane, and it’s so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Each cut is clearly top-grade, and you can taste the difference. Plus, the service is on point – they’re attentive and make sure your grill is always ready to go. If you’re a BBQ fanatic, this place is a must-try. Five stars all the way!

A semi new restaurant which is still a hidden gem! I ate here for dinner with my siblings, cousin, wife, and longtime friend. There was a 20 minute wait which was the only thing that I can say to keep in mind. We all had great service, and the food was absolutely delicious the price is decent as well so I would come back. They even give you a complimentary ice cream as a dessert!

Thirsty Cow in City of Industry is one of the better KBBQ spots I’ve been to. The quality of the meat really stands out, and the service was excellent.

My favorite cut was the Black Angus hand-cut short rib (original). It was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly on the grill without much fuss. I also tried the marinated version, which was good too, but the sugar in the marinade tends to burn quickly. It left the grill messy and required more frequent slate changes, which slowed things down a bit.

Luckily, our servers Theo and Oscar were great. They were attentive, helpful, and really kept things moving. Whether it was changing out the grill or checking in at just the right moments, they made the whole experience more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for high-quality Korean BBQ with solid service, Thirsty Cow is definitely worth a visit.

The food here is always delicious, and the atmosphere is really nice. We’ve visited many times, and our waiter, Obed, has helped us on several occasions. He’s always friendly and provides great service!

Although the most expensive Prime lunch costs $57, it is the only all-you-can-eat BBQ restaurant that has the aged Filet Mignon, NY Strip and Kimchi Dosirak.

Overall, the food was okay, I’d give it a 6 out of 10. Pricing felt high, but that’s pretty standard right now. I ordered the premium option (around $52–$57). Dessert is included, which was nice. Steamed rice costs extra and the portion is very small, I had to order two additional bowls.

Unfortunately, my car was broken into while I was there. The window was smashed. Nothing was taken, including a fernie blanket on the seat, but that may have been what made them think something was being covered. They did try to get into my trunk but didn’t take anything. As a wardrobe stylist, I usually have clothes in my car, so I was relieved, but still frustrating.

The restaurant said their cameras only cover the first row in front; my car was in the second row. I wasn’t given a contact number and had to take it as a loss. With the holidays around, be careful and don’t leave anything visible in your car.

Thirsty Cow Korean BBQ offers good quality meats with flavorful marinated short ribs and well-marbled brisket, plus fresh, refillable banchan that pairs nicely with the grill experience; the atmosphere is lively and great for groups, but service can be better, especially during busy hours when wait times are longer and it may take a while to get refills or grill changes — overall, it’s a decent spot for AYCE if you’re going mainly for the meat quality and fun dining vibe.

2nd visit was better than the 1st as we were better prepared and knew what to order and expect.

Good quality meat and food in what was likely an old Chili’s restaurant located near the Costco. I suggest paying the $54 to get the hand cut short ribs (our favorite) and a larger selection of beef items .. including steaks.

As others noted, service was great… friendly and efficient. The two girls serving our area frequently walked back and forth along the central dining aisle with eyes scanning the tables to check the tables. They would promptly ask if we were ready to order the next round of dishes. And meat dishes would arrive about 5 minutes after the order was placed.

One suggestion is to dip the almost cooked beef or pork in the dipping sauce and hot sauce and then put it back on the grill for a minute or so to let the sauces caramelize. The taste is sublime.

I would avoid the belly cuts if you can because the high fat content makes you feel full quickly and suddenly. That was my my experience

There are about 10 or more Korean BBQ places in the Rowland heights area. Not all are AYCE and some have better quality of meat. They’re also more expensive for what you get.

Overall, Thirsty Cow is our favorite in terms of value, quality, service and atmosphere. We will pay another visit the next time we’re in the area.

Food was nice. Fountain drinks cost extra. Service was inconsistent, ordered two items and came only one many times. Sometimes we were asked which ice cream we want at the end, sometimes were not offered.
