Date night – an amazing choice, would be a fantastic special treat. We had the Vegan tasting menu. The whole thing was visually incredible. Every detail in perfect place. Particularly cool was the bhel Puri with a selection of sauces, one for each. In terms of flavour I felt it could all have been amped up even further to be more adventurous, but the whole experience and faultless staging more than made up for the muted tastes. My husband’s favourite was the black Dal. We both loved the mango sorbet palate cleansers. Definitely a memorable meal and absolutely out of the ordinary.

Tried their tasting menu earlier and loved it, so when I ordered delivery today I felt I had to come back and leave a review. The food was delicious again especially the papdi chaat and the lal mirch paneer, both really stood out. The tasting menu is definitely worth trying; they do a great job combining unusual Indian flavours in a way that actually works. Would happily order again.

Was expecting better tasting food given the Michelin recommendation however I was disappointed by what I got. For starters the paneer was very soft and flavourful but the accompanying chutneys didn’t taste all the at good. Papdi chat was decent but was let down by how overly sweet it was. For the mains, the dahl makhani, saag aloo and okra salan were all average or below average. The okra specifically was grilled but was difficult to cut even with a knife. All in all a very mediocre experience that seems to be catered to the local palette.

Wow wow wow! We’ve been meaning to visit Navadhanya for a long time and wish we’d come sooner! Just incredible from start to finish! We had the 7 courses taster menu along with some other dishes and every plate of food was a taste sensation and work of art! Each being explained by the very polite waiting staff who couldn’t do enough for you! We cannot recommend this restaurant enough and hope to return in the not too distant future! Thank you very much indeed!

Honestly an amazing experience; customer service was impressive, food was splendid, and even the beverages were top rate. The saffron rice was worth multiple trips to this establishment alone. Obviously there are many incredible and interesting dishes with each we tried genuinely making us happy. Looks like it has been on the Michelin Guide a few times and deservedly so in my opinion. Highly recommended!

Food was excellent, so many flavours and textures! My tastebuds are still celebrating now thinking about it. Wine pairing was lovely too, the wines chosen were working well with each course – I would have liked a bit more personal touch from the servers, which although all very kind and smiley, did gave us a good service, but I was probably expecting more explanation about dishes and pairing, with a cultural insight too.
This the only reason I gave a 4 on service.
Definitely I’d love to go back, and will be do next time I’m in Cambridge again! Bravo!

We visited this restaurant following a red letter day experience gift. We had the meat 7 course taster menu. It was absolutely fantastic. Each course got better and better. My husband is not a fish lover and I am not a lamb lover but it was all amazing and we would come again. My husband has never liked crab and he would choose this from the main menu next time. The staff were very attentive and knew exactly what was in the dishes. We were so full that we couldnt manage the 6th and 7th course so they kindly boxed them up for us to take away. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they bought out a lovely little dessert to wish us a a happy anniversary. Very thoughtful and unexpected!! Amazing service and food. The restaurant itself was so clean. The only slight change would be the heater above us got a bit warm but that was all. Thank you and we will be back

We had a delightful time celebrating my birthday yesterday. We opted for a tasting menu, which included one vegetarian and one meat course. Overall, we enjoyed the food. Some dishes were particularly delicious, like the starter and sparkling tea, while others were less to our liking. The vegetarian menu didn’t quite meet our expectations. However, we appreciated the food and service.
The only issue I had was the location of our table. It was right next to the service door, which meant that waitresses were constantly coming and going with empty dishes. The door made a loud noise every time someone used it, which was quite distracting. I tried to focus on the food, but it was hard to ignore the noise.
Despite this annoyance, the food was good enough to make up for it.
