Koi Sushi: A True Gem for Impeccable Food and Service
Stepping into Koi Sushi immediately sets the stage for a wonderful dining experience. From the moment we were seated, the service was truly exemplary—the gold standard for hospitality. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, striking that perfect balance between professional efficiency and genuine warmth. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations that catered to our preferences. They handled the flow of the meal flawlessly, ensuring drinks were refreshed and plates cleared promptly. This dedication to customer care elevates the entire visit, making it a seamless and enjoyable occasion.
The food at Koi Sushi is, quite simply, superb. The quality of the fish is undeniably fresh, featuring vibrant color and perfect texture in every piece of sashimi and nigiri. The chefs clearly take pride in their craft, as each specialty roll is an artful creation, blending innovative flavors with classic technique. We particularly enjoyed the Dragon Roll, which was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. The flavors were clean and bright, proving that high-quality ingredients are the foundation of their success. Every bite confirmed this is a kitchen committed to excellence, delivering balanced, exciting flavors.
Koi Sushi has firmly secured a spot as my favorite local sushi destination. The combination of its stunningly fresh cuisine and the outstanding attention provided by the team makes it an unmissable dining spot. It’s the ideal place for a casual lunch or a special evening out. Highly recommended!

As a server/bartender myself I know the service industry gets intense, that being said the service here was hands down the worst service I’ve ever had. I hate to even write a bad review but even after eating I’m still upset. The food was amazing, but we waited 55 minutes for our food. During a timed service not to mention. My table needed sauce dishes. They never checked on our table during that 50 minutes wait besides to drop off miso soup and drinks. When we tried to ask for help they turned and walked off immediately. And our iPad died halfway through, so we had to go by pen and paper. Nothing wrong with pen and paper… if it didn’t take another 20 minutes to just get to our table. The food was good, service was just unacceptable in my opinion.

The food was incredible!! The appetizers were sooo good — my favorites were the Japanese chicken nuggets, potstickers, and calamari. The miso soup was delicious, and obviously the sushi was the star of the show. My personal favorite was the Papacito roll as well. The drinks were so unique and delicious, by the way!

first time coming, and it was pretty good. it wasn’t *particularly* amazing, just good, very Standard tasting. my only large complaint is that I didn’t really love the selection of specialty/deluxe rolls, they were definitely the most underwhelming part of everything.
the selection for non-sushi items was huge tho, lots of apps and even ramen available for the AYCE. (the Koi pizza appetizer however was also not very good at all: rice wasn’t very crispy and the toppings did not work well, do not recommend lol).
overall, this place is definitely good if you’re coming with a group where not everyone is a huge sushi eater (which is honestly a huge factor when it comes to choosing a restaurant to eat at), and if I come back, I’d definitely focus more on nigiri over rolls.

Their price for AYCE went up and the quality has gone down, but it still tastes decent especially if you’re craving sushi. Their koi pizza (not pictured) was good during the first order, hence why we ordered it a second time but it came super soggy and didn’t taste as good. Their seating time limit is either 1 and a half or 2 hours I believe but we were barely 40 mins in still eating and it felt so unwelcoming, it felt like the waitress (that wasn’t even serving us in the beginning) wanted us to leave. Her kids were seated a couple tables away from us the entire time while she was working and she kept coming to check on them and move stuff around. We ordered dessert and didn’t even finish yet when she came up to us with the bill. Again, she wasn’t the original waiter that was serving us. The first waiter we had seemed sweet, served us water right away, but stared at us the entire time. We left the bill she gave us to the side to finish eating but then she came up to us AGAIN with her tablet asking if we were ready to pay. Before I could even say anything she asks if it’ll be through apply pay. We were stunned & embarrassed so we just decided to pay without saying anything. Her attitude was very passive aggressive and this isn’t the first time we’ve been treated this way. If the max seating time limit for AYCE is 2 hrs we should not be getting our checks shoved in our faces 40 mins in while we’re still clearly eating. After we payed she gladly went back to checking on/serving her kids. I’ve ate here multiple times and thought it was amazing at first but their service has been terrible lately especially since the prices increased.

showed up on a tuesday afternoon. there was no wait and the sushi came out quick. the fish quality was pretty good. i think the rolls might have a better fish to rice ratio than the nigiri. they also have free soft serve that you can grab on your way out afterwards

Love the concept of ordering yourself for AYCE with the tablet. Makes it easier & convenient so you do not have to wait. Sushi was delicious and service was quick! Would def go back!

I usually stop in for pick up orders before work for lunch and have never had an issue until today. I decided to try the Ramen and it looked so unappetizing. Not sure what was up with the egg and the noodles were completely clumped together at the bottom of the bowl even after pouring the broth in. I also had a side of 2 sushi rolls that tasted horrible and smelled even worse. The salmon avocado roll was already turning brown as I tried to eat it. WHEN I JUST BOUGHT IT. Not sure if it was a bad day today or what but this is truly upsetting especially for the price I paid! I won’t be back.

If you don’t get the boat, it will haunt you that you didn’t live up to your potential. If you request a boat on the iPad, you’ll get one but you’ll still be haunted you didn’t get an honest boat.

The iPad at your table gives you a sense of power, you can keep adding sushi and appetizers to your hearts desire. All friction has been removed. We dined around 1pm on a Saturday and the whole place was ours! We ordered almost as soon as we sat down and the food came out quickly.

I’ll also note that the All-You-Can-Eat lunch price is unbelievable. I think it was $23 per person. Just two special rolls of sushi were roughly $28-$32. Why not just commit to the AYCE menu? Get an appetizer, some extras, tamago, treat yourself. You only live once and there are only so many times you can get AYCE sushi at this price.

Finally, before you leave, you need to grab a free cone of self serve soft serve ice cream on your way out.

Also parking is rough in this area. You need to get a car to drop you off right outside or walk.
