I recently stopped by City Barbeque and tried their chili baked potato — and it absolutely hit the spot.

Fast casual chain BBQ joint. I really wanted to love this place, however I felt like the food fell short. I tried a little bit of nearly all the sides and the Not Your Sloppy Joe. I found the food to be average. Not something I’d crave. The lemonade was excellent however. Staff was super friendly and kind.

First time eating here we’re from Indiana n we’re antiquing n found this place! We got the 3 meat pulled pork, pulled chicken n the Texas sausage it came with 2 sides we got baked beans n potato salad, everything was hot n delicious! Definitely should try this place!

Food was great and fresh. Brisket and ribs were tender and everything was ready quickly. This location has been hit or miss in the past but today was a definite positive experience and especially great for midweek.

It was mid, nothing really blew me away, had the 18hr brisket cooked well enough but no flavor, no umph, no hoorah, but it was moist, good on them for that; the chili was good, but just not/soupy I guess for lack of a better word. Also had the Texas sausage, and the pulled pork, they give you tons of pork but not much of the brisket, wish I had a couple more slices at least, the cornbread was moist out some honey on there and good enough for me. The baked beans were bland. Just get bushes, it’s better, barbeque selection was ok, but just not very tasty, the sweet was not good. The original was ok, and the spicy had a alcohol flavor to it that I didn’t care for. Would I return, not likely, perhaps I’m hard to please, but with 4+stars I was expecting more flavor, I must have missed the bus to flavor town.

Kiera was very friendly, and knowledgeable. As she began ringing up my order, I explained to her that I had only visited a City Barbecue 1 time a few back and was nit a pleasant experience, luckily it wasn’t this location and since I was working in the area, I decided to give the restaurant/brand another try. Kiera gave me the experience to change my mind about this restaurant. After explaining to her that my Grandmother used to make the best corn pudding she offered up a sample and then offered two more samples of side items. I truly appreciated her customer service.

First of all the food was great! As a first timer Lisa the cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. She was very patient and based of w that I wanted . Her recommendation was spot on. Will definitely be returning. Great service and great food.

The tables were all clean the service was very friendly and nice the ribs were okay. They were a little overcooked and pretty fatty TBH but that banana pudding is wonderful. I basically go here for the pudding lol. And it’s pretty expensive especially for what I got.

I have been to this location a couple times and always find it wonderful. Today it was hard-core raining and I had to go order. I waited for a while, but I was anxious to get home and eat. So I was gonna brave the rain. An employee asked me to wait. He went in the back and cut a large garbage bag lengthwise and he had another employee held it over my head like a tarp, walking me all the way to my car while they got wet. Then they went back for my little guy to walk him to the car as well. Really above and beyond Their responsibilities or expectations for service. But they were wonderful.
