Two of us arrived early for happy hour (5pm). Bartender comes over and take my order but never asked my friend what she would like. After getting her attention, she order but she was very inattentive throughout the night that we started placing drink orders through the other bartenders. Wasn’t a big deal because I understand sometimes people have things on their mind and don’t even realize what’s going on in front of them.
I had the chicken sliders while my friend had the burger. After waiting nearly 25 min it finally came out COLD! We had to send everything back.
Manager brings out the second round and apologized. While warm this time, the sandwiches were mediocre. My chicken was the size of a nugget and poorly presented. Not what I expected for a 5 star steakhouse.
The atmosphere was nice. We ended up ordering additional food because the sliders were not a hit!
Our server started out pretty attentive and while we needed a bit to initially order, she checked on us periodically until we were ready. Food and beverage took a little longer than usual for a restaurant like this but not extreme. Unfortunately though after a certain point, our server became harder and harder to find. There was no checking back to see if we needed more water and once we were done with dessert, it took about 30 minutes to get and pay for our check.
Now for the main event, the food. The complimentary bread was good but perhaps could have been sliced prior to bringing to table so everyone’s hands at the table don’t need to be on it to get a slice. Bar drinks were smooth and delicious. The wedge salad was pretty solid! We opted for a mix of traditional turkey, fish, and of course steak. The soup and salad portions were fairly small but tasty. The main course was filing and flavorful but not a ton of turkey. The pecan streusel cheesecake was delightful and I’d definitely eat that if it were just on the menu in general. The ribeye was perfectly cooked and tasted great as expected but presentation (since it doesn’t come with anything for $70) was a little lackluster. The miso sea bass was amazingly flavorful and delicate all at the same time. Would definitely recommend this if you are here but don’t eat steak.
Now, our server Dan was great, so nice, patient, and attentive, plus all his recommendations were on point. Service was excellent.
All the food we ordered came out very good and very tasty. Those steaks were without doubt excellent. The desserts were so delicious, especially the key lime pie. Yum!
We also interacted with other staff members and I have to say they were all very nice. Alfonso was friendly and funny and made us laugh so much.
So made a reservation off of some promotion on Instagram for burgers and Vueve Cliquot (Morton’s Happy Meal).
After she realized that the promotion wasn’t for the dining tables, she tells us go to the bar for that and walks off without further explanation.
I’m at the bar now. Assuming the food is good and the atmosphere is as expected… management needs to talk to this person.
Anastasia is her name.
From the beginning, our server, Annastasiya (or Nastya), was unpleasant and cold. She didn’t offer us water and immediately tried to upsell items from the menu without first asking what we were interested in ordering. It felt rushed and impersonal, especially for a special occasion.
Overall, the lack of warmth and basic hospitality from our server made what should have been a memorable anniversary dinner a disappointing experience.
