Great experience! We went for Valentines Day and were impressed from start to finish. We liked the fact that it’s hidden / speakeasy style. All the staff is extremely accommodating. The magic was phenomenal. The food and drinks were good, with the exception of the tequila based cocktail I had. We had burrata, salad, steak with crusts and sauces, parmesan fries which were gigantic, and brussel sprouts. I felt the prices were reasonable except for the steak accompaniments. Staff gave my wife a rose on the way out. Parking was free in the next door garage with validation at the host stand. Kids are not allowed except during weekend brunch, which we appreciated. Overall it was a great evening and I’d definitely return.

House of Cards in Nashville felt less like dinner and more like stepping into an experience designed just for me. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance sets the tone—elegant, mysterious, and perfectly curated. It’s top-tier in every sense: the atmosphere, the food, and the staff all operate on another level.

I absolutely love magic, and I absolutely love to eat—so having both under one roof felt like a dream. Dinner alone would have been worth the visit, but after the meal, we were taken into a private room for the magic show, which made the experience feel even more exclusive and intentional. It was the perfect way to transition from dining to wonder.

The steak was phenomenal, but let’s talk about the steak sauce—BOSS. Bold, rich, and unforgettable. And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, the warm cake arrived. Comforting, indulgent, and the perfect ending to an already incredible meal.

Every interaction with the staff felt polished and thoughtful, adding to the magic rather than distracting from it.

House of Cards doesn’t just serve food or perform magic—they curate an experience. If you appreciate great dining, exceptional service, and a little awe tucked into your evening, this place delivers.

My wife and I spent our last evening having dinner here and enjoying the unseasonably warm temperatures after going to the Titans game. I really like it that they mandate patrons dressing up. People just don’t do that anymore these days. You feel kind of sneaky as they open the key door and direct you down a stone covered stair corridor into the basement. From the time you walk in until you leave, the atmosphere is amazing. To sum up our dinner, we had the Panzella salad and the octopus to start. Absolutely delicious! I had the elk tenderloin and my wife had the sea bass. The tenderloin is definitely for the heartier appetite and is probably the best tenderloin I’ve ever tasted and I’ve had venison and beef, and neither were nothing short of spectacular. The presentation of everything was top notch. As they want you to be able to get to the three tiers of magic, the food was out very quickly. Everybody there seem to be having a good time and I wish it could always feel like your first time going there because it was so unique. Loren our server, was very attentive, friendly, and not at all stuffy as you might find in some high-end restaurants. We will definitely ask for him when we bring friends back to the Nashville area. Just do it!

Definitely met my expectations! Came here for a birthday celebration and was not disappointed. A complimentary slice of chocolate cake comes with a birthday candle, no song ). The waterfall is a great touch and is probably more enchanting during sunset.

The pork chop with the carrots was flavorful & cooked to perfection 10 out of 10. I wasn’t really a fan of the jam so I’m glad I requested it on the side. The sea bass was plump and seasoned well. The brussel sprouts (requested that the bacon jam be on the side)weren’t the best we’ve tasted, but they were good. The reviews stated the food was pricey/overpriced/etc. It’s not fast food pricing but you pay for what you get. I was suprised about the CBID (central business improvement district) tax…like what! So yeah, state, county, liquor (LBD), & now that.

The magicians (Kevin King& Ryan Shadow) were all great & the headliner, Frankie Foti, was amazing also.

I’ll be fully honest – despite hearing glowing reviews about the food, I booked this restaurant for my friend’s birthday solely due to the magic show. I expected the food to be good, but not to blow us away.

When I tell you that is this is genuinely one of the best meals I’ve ever had, if not THE best meal I’ve ever had, I truly mean it. Everything that we got came out so tender and flavorful, and the drinks were delicious. (One of my friends said she feels that every steak she’s had prior to this wasn’t a real steak. I may have ruined her haha).

The magic show ended up being the added bonus, not the other way around. And the magic show was wonderful as well, it made us laugh so hard.

Lastly, our waiter was incredible. He was so nice, funny, engaging, and helped us pick our food items. It felt like he knew the menu inside and out, and he spoke like he belonged in a magic shop, which really sold the experience.

This is not a place I will be forgetting anytime soon 🙂

House of Cards is one of our go-to date night spots in Nashville! The dining experience is so unique, elegant, and fun. It is important to note that there is a dress code requirement. I love that they require a specific attire because it adds to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. The food and service are consistently fantastic every time we go! The elk and the steaks are always cooked to perfection. Their wedge salad and cocktails are great as well! The magic shows throughout the restaurant really add to the experience. I highly recommend House of Cards!

YOU HAVE TO DRESS UP FOR THIS PLACE AND THE DRESS CODE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED! So this is definitely a place you need to plan for and 100% make a reservation! From start to finish this was an A++ experience. Probably the worst part was the host was a lil ridge and straight to the point, but besides that our waitress was amazing, attentive, and super cool to talk to! Each magician had a larger than life and unique personality and each do their own unique tricks making it worthwhile to check out all of them! Hands down the best part was the food! I got the veal and duck fat fingerling potatoes and after eating it I felt like I had to smoke a cigarette after it was so good. The drinks are good too, and they have a wide variety of alcohol. If you get an entree you can get a ticket to a bigger magic show than the small ones you can visit while your food is being made. The show is pretty cool! They last close to 30mins and will definitely leave you amazed even if you’re a skeptic! Lastly, definitely check out the patio, its a cool place to chill and take pics. Again, if you’re going to Nashville this is a must!

The food here is excellent, the sleight of hand is even better! We greatly enjoyed the Magic Up
Close. I was absolutely impressed. We also laughed so hard at Allan in the theatre show. 10/10 we are already planning to go back again!

We were really looking forward to the “experience” of House of Cards yet we left a little disappointed. The atmosphere is incredible, love the decor and vibe of the restaurant. Our waitress was attentive at times the service felt rushed even when we had plenty of time before our show time. We were told the main magic show was 30 minutes but it barely lasted 20 minutes. The card shows were good making the experience better. I’m not sure I’d go back for the price we paid.

House of Cards was a very mystic experience. The food was very delicious. We enjoyed everything including burrata, vegan surf and turf and creme brulee. The chocolate cake was very dense. The service, however, was terrible. Our server was not attentive at all. We had consistently get his attention by walking to him.
