While ordering takeout I explained my very simple order over the phone, I even repeated it three times to make sure they understood. When I got home and opened the food, it was completely wrong. I called and had them remake it, the lady at the front was very nice and apologetic when I went to pick my food up for the second time. And of course once I got home again, they somehow managed to mess my order up a second time.. all I wanted was a bean and cheese burrito and add carne asada. They put a crazy amount of cheese in the burrito, no beans. Unreal

Just Ok, might just be me, but I’m a native Arizonan and have been eating at mexican food restaurants for decades, including Manuels. Either my taste buds are more selective or alot of the older restaurants have not maintained the quality and taste of their dishes.

Amazing food but some of the slowest service and saltiest drinks in the valley. Employees just walk around aimlessly even when trying to get their attention. Good luck getting drinks before your food. I’ve been four times and had a good experience twice and two bad experiences. There’s too many Mexican places to be this inconsistent and this pricy ($12 Margs and $20 burritos!)

Hubby and I were in the area checking out a condo for a friend and decided to try Manuel’s. Wheelchair friendly. Food was delicious. I ordered the Tampiqueno steak platter. It came with a cheese enchilada, but I asked for chicken for an extra charge. Hubby said his fish tacos were delicious. My food was delicious and I brought leftovers home.

There’s kind of a poopy smell upon walking into this restaurant. It wasn’t coming from the bathroom – the bathroom was clean. The front desk area was also a little messy the day we came.
Other than that, the food is absolutely scrumptious! And Maggie is SUCH a good waitress! She and the man who brought the chips were right on top of every need. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

First time here. Chips and salsa were delicious, filled up on those and didn’t finish my meal. The food was great, service was awesome, came back to check on us often. Will definitely be back.

My brother lives in Phoenix and this us his go to Mexican restaurant. I ordered carnitas. Nice, tender and delicious! Big serving also. Great deal! Beans and rice were good. My flour tortillas were good, hot and fresh too. My wife had the seafood platter. It was good, but she said it had lots of cheese which I appreciate but she didn’t. Good chips and salsa! Margaritas was good also!

Stopped here on way from airport to hotel. Wife had the soup and said he tasted burnt and wasn’t very good. I had the chili burrito and it was very dry and not a lot of flavor. The enchilada was pretty good and I liked the enchilada sauce. Waiter was nice and parking was easy.
