Perfect girls’ night at Menotomy
Met my two girlfriends for a much‑needed night out, and Menotomy absolutely delivered. Our server, Ahmet was amazing. We shared the buffalo chicken dip to start — so good — and our steak tip salads were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The sangrias were delicious and paired perfectly with everything. We ended the night with the raspberry chocolate cake, which was the perfect sweet finish.
Great food, great vibes, and a great place to catch up. We’ll definitely be back.

This was fun, I don’t know why I haven’t come here before. Lots of good classic American food with some cool modern twist dishes. Cocktails and beer and wine selections was good. Staff was friendly if. It a little overcommitted. Atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable.
Had a delicious seafood classic soup dish, you’d a few deep friend pickles and nachos.
A good time had by all. Will add it to the going out rotation.

We had high hopes for dinner here since we were staying next door. We chose to dine outside since it was a bit loud inside. I think if they dialed back the bad hipster music it would help a lot.
My wife took the herb roasted chicken and it was the codfish cakes for me. Her chicken was beyond overcooked. The skin was inedible, the meat was dry. The green beans were undercooked. The codfish cakes were good as was the slaw. I did not care for the beans and the tartar sauce tasted like something that came in a 5 gallon bucket.
When I told our server about the chicken she seemed indifferent and changed the subject.

We had a bereavement reception lunch here. The staff accommodated my sister’s and my vegan diets along with offerings for the omnivores. Everyone enjoyed the food, even the vegan pasta with lentil bolognese. (It was delicious, as were the potatoes and salad.)
After the lunch was over, they packed up leftovers for us, which we hugely appreciated.
My sister and I stayed a bit longer with our husbands and enjoyed the beer selection.

Nice and spacious atmosphere, not too packed or loud on a weekday. Guy at the door and our server were really nice. There’s a parking lot but it was full, parked on the street. Good overall lacks flavor.
Fish and chips delicious. Coleslaw is “ok” couldn’t taste vinegar or sugar, any flavor really. Mac and cheese, also leaning towards too neutral flavor. I couldn’t tell what cheese(s) it was. Steak tips doused in chimi sauce, enough to detract from it imo. Hummus was good, served with carrots and Mediterranean olives and extra thick crispy chips. Hummus was closer to 3x as thick as tomato paste, so hard to dip/stick to the veg.
So overall not worth it unless you’re coming for the beers, bar. I won’t be back.
Idc about places that give large food potions, used to it in todays age. but they’re preposterous here. Not a #win with just ok food.

I really want to like this place and I have given it a second, third and fourth chance but each time the food is so incredibly over salted that it’s disgusting. It they just laid off the salt the food might be good. I’m not kidding here, I took my blood pressure that night and it had skyrocketed and I could feel the blood pulsing in my thumbs, I’ve never felt that before. High salt is the cause. All you can taste is salt in every dish. I don’t know how they are getting so many 5 start reviews. The atmosphere and staff are great, but the food is inedible.

I had heard the baked beans here were really good and that they were served as a side with the New England cod cakes. They did not disappoint. The cole slaw also had a unique flavor that was quite good.
The service was friendly and attentive, but not obtrusive. They practically bent over backwards helping a woefully indecisive table seated beside me. The menu had quite a few choices that sounded good, and the beer list was pretty good, too. The space itself felt warm and had a nice atmosphere, and it was easy to watch a TV from anywhere.

We’ve eaten here twice in the last three days. It’s conveniently located in the parking lot of our hotel, but the primary reason we returned is the food and service. A menu full of interesting offers for both lunch (weekday) and brunch (Sunday). Friendly servers who go out of their way to make customers feel welcomed and happy. There are more menu options I’d like to try, so we may even go for a third meal during this visit.

Great service today. Nice selection of cocktails and craft beers. The PEI mussels with chorizo were delicious. The special recommended by our server Meghan was truly special. The haddock was fresh and cooked perfectly along with the fried potato wedges, asparagus and pea tendrils. (The greens obscure the lovely fish. BTW the sauce was tasty too!)

Draft beer was ice cold and service was quick and attentive! Fantastic relaxed experience. Raw oysters were awesome and price very reasonable. The outdoor dining area was incredible. Clean atmosphere blended in well even in an urban location. Tables were well spaced out so it felt comfortable. I always enjoy going to this place but my first Raw Oyster outdoor experience. Definitely going back. Hurry they only do this Thursday nights until Fall.
