We tried Elena’s yesterday while visiting Punta Gorda. We really liked our experience. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, almost too fast in that our meal arrived before we finished our salad and soup. The food was fresh and tasted great. I personally didn’t care for the gravy (with the chicken dinner), but it was okay. Everything else was great. Portion sizes are large. Prices are very, very good. Their menu is diverse, and I’d love to visit again to try some of their other offerings. Great, cozy ambiance feel to the place as well.

Stopped in for breakfast in early November and was able to sit down with no wait. A decent amount of tables with a decent menu. Picked the Gyro omelete which came with potatoes and toast. Coffe was decent and cup never ran dry. As with most places nowadays, they charged an added fee for credit card purchases. All in all, a nice find in the punta gorda area.

Our server was Grace and she did a fantastic job. I had a salad, liver and onions, bacon, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables…then desert which brought back some wonderful memories of my Grandma…rice pudding! First time and definitely will return!

We went out for breakfast on Sunday, and the place was beautiful! The food was delicious, and our server, Sue, was very friendly; she even gave us some great suggestions from the menu. Honestly, everything looked amazing. The atmosphere was excellent, and we had a fantastic time!

gave me dried out old chicken and they lied to me and said the grape leaves (dolmades) were homemade, they are not! they are canned ! greek

My friend and I live far from each other, and Elena’s is a great place to meet in the middle. We come here every month for a breakfast together, but today we were asked to leave so they could seat a party of 12. We were seated at a six top and would happily have waited for a small table. They seated us at this larger table and then hovered trying to remove our plates as soon as we were done eating, or in my case before I was done eating like they were rushing us out and eventually ask us to leave so they could see the big party. We will not ever return to Elena’s and will not recommend it. If an experience like this doesn’t bother you. I do recommend the food, but we are done with Elena’s. This was such a rude experience when we have been coming here for at least a year And always had great food and service.

My husband eats breakfast there every day. It’s the best breakfast around. You won’t get better home fries. Some places call frozen french fried cubed potatoes home fries. Elena’s are authentic. Their regular lunch and dinner items are great too. You won’t ever leave there hungry. Most of their staff have been there for years. Great friendly service.

Greek style restaurant, very busy on Sunday noon time. Party of 5 seated quickly, very friendly and attentive service. Those that had salads said they were excellent, large servings. Breakfast menu available all day, pancakes were good, bacon was just right. Reasonable prices.
