Spent my October Fest at La Tia and Pancho’s Cantina. So I have wanted to try the Beef Tongue. Today I ordered Chile Verde con Lingua and it was delicious. Very tender and well seasoned. Added a mini pitcher of house margarita and some guacamole to top it off. Heavenly. I love coming to this restaurant. The staff is pleasant and takes good care of the customers.

We liked the atmosphere, food was good, especially loved the salsa and chips. Had the mixed fajitas for 2. Didn’t come with very ma y tortillas and had to pay for extras. Good service. I like that the booths have plexiglass above the seats for added privacy. Noise levels are comfortable.

We had a very disappointing experience here. We sat down, ordered our drinks and food immediately (nachos and a quesadilla—nothing complicated), and then waited 45 minutes before asking our waitress about the status of our order. She said she would check on it, and at that point we asked to go ahead and pay so we could leave right after eating.
After over an hour total, my husband spoke to the owner about the long wait. After over an hour they finally boxed up our food and handed it to us. Unfortunately, the food was awful. My nachos were basically chips with watery cheese and no toppings at all. I took one bite and couldn’t eat it—it was honestly nauseating.
Between the excessive wait, rude interaction from the owner, and inedible food, this was not an experience we would repeat or recommend.

Food was slightly bland, service was slightly slow, the floor was slightly crooked. Busy weekend, maybe staff were exhausted. Great management!

I want to give 6 stars for service. Had a great experience. Came there for lunch got in and out quickly. Food was good. Free chips and salsa. I even bought a jar of salsa a they gave me chips to go with it. I walk my dogs in downtown St Chuck and have passed by many times but never got a chance to go in.

Absolutely amazing. Our waitress was kind, helpful and welcoming. The margaritas were so good. The salsa is the bomb!! Street tacos were super filling!! The rice plates were huge portions. Now for the BEST part…this shot with the orange dipped in sugar and cinnamon is worth it. It tastes absolutely delicious and I needed the little night cap.

Great authentic Mexican food. Parking can get a little tricky, but you can find a spot behind the restaurant. They have inside and outside seating. Large menu to choice from. The guacamole was awesome

Decided to drop in on a Tuesday for lunch with my family. The atmosphere matched the vibe and food. I ordered a quesadilla burger and my wife had enchiladas and they were amazing. Definitely recommend. Great options for kids menu items as well for the picky eater!

Upon arrival it took several moments to be greeted and seated, the staff were polite enough but not very personable. The atmosphere and aesthetics are akin to an old head bar. You are provided tortilla chips as gratis, the chips were average and the salsa was very bland, I asked for house spicy salsa as an alternative, it was also very bland and lacking in any chile pepper forward flavor. I ordered a tamal which was soggy and had a hint of that freezer funk flavor you get from something that gets freezer burned. I had Enchiladas as my entree, which is covered in queso, verde and red sauce, the sauces were also very bland, and the dish tasted under seasoned, the rice that came with the entree had a lot of filler, including peas, and also had very little flavor. The spice game at La Tia & Pancho’s is no good, and could use a lot more thought to elevate the dishes. Overall I wouldn’t consider coming here again, unless they completely overhaul how they’re seasoning and flavoring their cuisine, as well as training their staff on soft skills.
