This place was just okay. For all the hype and good reviews, my expectations were set pretty high.
We got the dumplings and were unimpressed. The dumpling filling was not something I’m used to…it was dry and it was almost like shredded meat instead of minced meat usually used in dumplings. I didn’t like that texture. The wrapping was also too thick. We also got the braised beef noodle soup. The soup was pretty good; had bold flavors, lots of meat, and I liked the texture of the noodles; had that “springy-ness” to it. The fried chicken was dry and the green beans were okay. Service was fast and fine. The place was modern, clean, and nicely decorated. Overall, it’s just fine

Really delicious beef pancake roll (must try!!) I think it was the best dish I tried today.
The braised beef lamen soup was also really good and had a good amount of meat and veggies in it. The soup was a bit bland at first but the flavors grew as I continued eating it and I tasted more sourness and spices.
The onion pork buns were also pretty good but I could do without.
Atmosphere is quiet and easy to talk.
The bathroom had mouthwash and a bidet!

Absolutely love this place! Dumpling The Noodle Restaurant has become one of my go-to spots whenever I’m craving something cozy and flavorful. The dumplings are fresh and juicy, the noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the broths are packed with rich, comforting flavor. Every dish tastes homemade with real care. The portions are generous, prices fair, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner, this spot never misses. Highly recommend!

I ordered the mock duck lamen soup and my fiancé had the braised beef lamen soup. Both soups were MOSTLY OIL and it felt like I was just drinking pure oil. I told our server this and she gave the excuse of beef bones, but the mock duck one does not have beef (it’s also marked as vegan..) It’s a shame because the texture of the noodles is really good. I had to transfer all of my noodles out onto a plate and add soy sauce to make this meal edible. I’ve literally never been served this much oil before, not in America, not in China or Taiwan. Service was also slow and they didn’t care they served us so much oil. What a waste of $20/person.

The chili tofu lamen is one of the best dishes I have had in Seattle period. It is packed full of flavor, the noodles are the perfect chewy texture, and the tofu is perfectly cooked. I crave it weekly and it has become a staple in our house. We have tried other dishes here, with some hits and misses, but really none of that matters because the lamen dish is out of this world divine. A second favorite is the fried chicken.

Dumpling were great , very tasty. We ordered half of the duck , it was good , I rather having the duck with the traditional bao but it went quite well with the thin pancake sheet . The restaurant decor was on point, very nice and cozy.

Amazing dumplings, noodles and pancakes. The dumpling wrappers were handmade as they were thick and chewy ( ).
This place will be our go-to place for any dumpling fixes.

This was the first time visit for us. Food was good but we ordered soup noodles and boiled wontons are very similar taste.
So we might going to try fried noodle menu next time.
Customer service was pretty quick and easy.

Food was good, with many vegetarian options! Service was fast a friendly. Everything came out fast and the portions were huge. My husband liked his beef noodles and I enjoyed my mock duck noodle. The noodles were a bit soft and overcooked but we can look past that. I didn’t get the try the bao buns but my husband said they were excellent. Will be back to try their other dishes! The ambiance is nice and if you sit next to the window you can people watch. :))

Perhaps the best Chinese I’ve had in Seattle. Or maybe I was starving. Or perhaps both. My pork onion buns and chili the beef lamen were divine.
