Located in old town castle rock, Yolanda offers a great assortment of tacos and homemade salsa. A rock solid mexican go to, on the fly… I recommend the Mahi Mahi fish taco, the quesadilla (with just cheese) & the carne asada tacos. The staff is a little unpleasant sometimes when its busy and the location is in a little strip mall and a little dark and dingy but located in a great spot in old downtown. Parking is normally pretty easy unless there is a community event going on

Yolanda’s is the best. I used to frequent the Colorado and Arapahoe locations, until they closed. This is the sole (and original) location to get some of the best tacos In The state. The value is amazing. The veggies are always fresh. Beware of the hot sauce, if you can’t handle heat. It sneaks up on you. All the tacos are great. The queso burrito is my favorite, just make sure and get veggies in the side if you don’t want lettuce and tomatoes on top of the burrito smothered in queso. I like it though. The staff is always nice. Make sure and read the sign in the lobby to validate parking. The portion sizes are great, and everything tastes fresh here. Really great flavors. This state need more food like this! I will amend with pictures in the future.

Yolanda’s is the Mexican food hidden Gem I’ve been looking for since moving from Texas. They have high quality ingredients and the white queso is AMAZING! So thankful to finally find GOOD Mexican food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Had lunch here today. It’s quick, it’s reasonably priced, it’s great food. They validate parking in the lot right in front of the place.
I usually get the avocado tostado without meat. Today, I tried the special called the TacoQuesadilla. See my picture. You can choose the meat and I chose Asada, like fajita beef strips.
Another person with me chose the Yoly Bowl special. See my picture.
All their food is fresh! All their food is prepared with care. You cannot go wrong picking this place for a casual quick lunch that won’t break the bank. They never disappoint!
Oh, we all like the Salsa Fresca and fresh chips!

I hun last minute pickle where I had to find a way to feed 32 people in less than 2 hours and most catering around here requires a 48 hours notice. I called and they were quick to solve my problem! They has to food ready within an hour and it was hot and ready to go! The customer service was great, they even helped me carry it to my car. I will definitely use Yolanda’s again!!

Don’t get me wrong, I like Yolanda’s food, I suggested it to my family & we went there Sun. Dec. 14th. I spent alot of $$. Eating out isn’t cheap these days. There were 6 of us. My son’s food was completely wrong. He said NO to onions & guacamole. It came smothered in both. The kid at the register needs to be schooled on customer service. He practically whispers when he talks to you. Didn’t know what all ingredients came automatically on some of the dishes. I don’t know where the communication went wrong, the low talker or the cook. Disappointing. I talked up this place & it ended up being a mistake. Staff needs customer service training. My son didn’t even eat his lunch. Yes, he should have had them re make it but that’s awkward & he didn’t wanna. It was busy.!That’s on him …. But please listen to how we want our food. Not everyone likes certain things. Pay attention. Talk louder & be friendly. Customer service is important. It can make or break the experience.

Their carnitas tacos and tinga are really good. They serve them with chips and salsa. Their mango margarita is amazing. And Juan has great personality and is very attentive.

Catering here was a disaster. I ordered several days in advance to pickup at 5PM for a 60 taco catering order. When I got there, the employees clearly had not been warned or told there would be a catering order. As such, I waited 45 minutes in the restaurant as they slowly collected what was needed for it. Additionally, I was charged for 75 tacos instead of 60. Food tastes good though.

The place opened at 11am on the dot. So I went next door grabbed some DazBog coffee and went back for a quick bite of lunch. A few others had already made their way in by now. The counter girl was friendly and had a smile that made me feel at home. The menu is an easy to read left to right, where you start your order from the left column and pick from the columns on the right to complete your meal option. I ordered a steak burrito with queso sauce. Don’t be discouraged from the pics I added, the burrito comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, and chips with salsa. I don’t like salad so I don’t eat it on my food. I didn’t want the chips either. I didn’t want to waste them. That said my plate would have been much fuller with those in it. The burrito was good, it had a good steak flavor with plenty of steak in it. The place was clean. By the time I was finishing my meal many others had came in, must be a favorite amongst the locals. And why not the service was friendly the food came out quickly and I was full when I left. Yolanda’s must be family owned. If you like family owned places you’ll know what I mean when you eat here. They also have beer and my favorite, Coca-Cola.
