Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Circa-1950 fast-food chain for counter-serve burgers, some stacked with multiple patties.

My wife picked up dinner to bring home, because I can’t always eat right away when she brings food home, i ask her to get my veggies for my burger on the side, so i can put it together when i finally get to eat. The picture below is what the College Park Whataburger gave my wife to bring home. Honestly, it looks like a used container that a lazy employee took out of the trash and put in her take home bag. I love Whataburger, but this really makes me question my choices. Come on College Park Whataburger, you have got to do better than this RIGHT AWAY. Please, seriously. Disgusting.

I always order food from this location and the service previously was great. Today I ordered from the app to pick up my food and I asked three times for my order to the cashier. The order finally was delivered to me 30 MINUTES later, food cold, drinks warm and not fresh food.

The worst service ever

Picked up food to go that we ordered on the app. Definitely took a little longer than the app showed for estimated pick up time (about 8 minutes longer) for them to bring to curbside, but it was obvious they were very busy! No complaints on the food as always. Hot, fresh tasting. We love Whataburger and order from this location often.

First time at this location. The area is super nice. The staff was super nice. The food was just made and juicy. Juicy is not a compliment I normally give to any Whataburger but this one did great.

One of the few fast food restaurants that is worth eating in store. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the dining room is clean and comfortable. A gem in the world of Uber Eats and DoorDash. Shoutout to management for keeping the inside welcoming and clean for guests.

The cashier (a senior citizen like myself) was extremely pleasant, and knowledgeable enough about the selections to help my party decide what to order. (Kudos to Whataburger for job opportunities for all!) We received our food quickly and the bowl I tried for the first time was delicious . The restaurant was busy, but not crowded at the time, so great for a nice and quiet Sunday breakfast. When back in the area, I will definitely stop by this location again!

We visited this location on Christmas eve, we checked Google and it showed they closed at 6pm. We arrived at 5:40 and were told they’re closed after we drove all the way over. We told the manager the website says 6? He just said we’re closed, all the Whataburger’s in the area closed at 5:30. Either change your hours or honor them its not difficult. Listen, I’m all for people closing early for Christmas eve but if Whataburger is cocky enough they think they can treat people this way, well there’s plenty of other hamburger places in The Woodlands to go to, we’ll be going anywhere else but here in the future.

On November 3, 2025, at approximately 5:30 PM, I utilized the drive-thru service and received an order of chicken strips that appeared to be undercooked. Upon contacting the establishment to report this issue, the manager expressed skepticism, stating that several orders had recently been dispatched. I clarified that my order was among those referenced. The manager then indicated that a replacement would necessitate the return of the original meal or a photographic submission at a later time. I endeavored to communicate that my primary concern was not a complimentary meal, but rather to prevent potential health risks to other patrons. I am perplexed as to why the emphasis was placed on meal replacement rather than an immediate internal review of food preparation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards.

At 12:44PM my wife went through the drive through at this Whataburger to pick up a patty melt on her lunch break. When the employee asked for her name and she replied her name, the worker looked at her, reacted with surprise about her size, and made an inappropriate expression. Then two other employees in the back laughed and walked away. My wife came home feeling humiliated and could not even enjoy her lunch because she felt judged and disrespected for her appearance.
I have worked in customer service and retail for more than fourteen years and I understand the importance of treating every customer with dignity regardless of their size, shape, ethnicity, or background. What happened at this location is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of professionalism. My wife no longer feels comfortable returning because she believes the staff will continue to make fun of her.
After she told me what happened she was crying on the phone. I immediately contacted the store and asked for the manager’s email and the regional manager’s email to submit a formal complaint. The manager refused to provide that information which only confirmed the lack of accountability at this location. I then had to call the Whataburger customer service line to file a report.
In a community like The Woodlands businesses should take pride in treating customers with respect and making them feel welcomed. This experience did the complete opposite. I hope management and corporate take this seriously because no customer should ever be made to feel belittled or embarrassed for simply trying to buy lunch.

I ordered three different meals for three different people and all three orders were wrong. Literally did the opposite of what we needed. I’m a huge fan of Whataburger in the food was definitely not to the standard of Whataburger. I repeated myself three times to make sure she got it right and the receipt read completely wrong specifically also The service was not that great. The restaurant seemed very clean on a positive note.
