Suggestion: if you can, try to put yourself on the waiting list prior to arriving because we did have to wait an hour (though it was worth the wait) ,but there are plenty of stores around to keep you busy while you wait.
However, they don’t take reservations, and every time I’ve gone the wait has been an hour or more, which is frustrating. On top of that, the atmosphere was extremely loud, with kids screaming, babies crying, and customers yelling.
As someone with PTSD and social anxiety, this was overwhelming and not a place I would return to. If you don’t mind long waits and a noisy environment, you may enjoy it.
Before telling the waiter, I had already cut the burger in half, and I took the fries off the plate to eat while waiting for the remake. Well… I didn’t even end up waiting, because they brought me back the exact same burger, just with the bun switched out and the toppings I didn’t want scraped off. You could clearly see the patty was from the first burger because it was still cut in half.
Not only is that unprofessional, but if someone had a food allergy, this could have gone very wrong. I ended up only taking a few bites and didn’t finish it, knowing it had already touched condiments I don’t eat.
I’m not the type to make a scene in person, so I didn’t complain further, but I do want others to be aware: if you send food back, make sure they’re actually remaking it and not just removing toppings. Very disappointing experience.
He was happy… My food was the exact opposite.I ordered my medium rare to rare… If I can post the picture i’m going to.It was burnt and it looked like well… An overcooked piece of liver. Very hard to chew.
I’m gonna try to post the picture, so you can see it.. I did not want to send it back for 2 reasons..
The first reason was when you send something back, it’s an embarrassment. At least I feel it is second and more importantly… My dad just got his steak at the same time. His steak would have gotten cold waning from my steak to come out.And then the whole meal would have been bad…
And i’m sure whoever reads us can understand that. And it would have made a very bad impression on the whole evening…We ordered an appetizer.. the stuffed mushrooms. They were very good. I really enjoy those
And again, my dad enjoyed his steak tremendously. I want to thank the staff there. They are really nice. To be honest, I’m 65. My dad again is 91. My dad is the United States air force Korean war veteran
And I am a u s air force veteran as well. I don’t know how many more birthdays we’re gonna have to celebrate together. And I thought this would have been a great place.
For a special meal… I am very torn with this review because I don’t want to sound ungrateful. We loved our server…However… She wasn’t the one who sent out the steak. It was a male..My steak again….was, well, I’m gonna leave it at that …enough said, and I guess I’m a little upset as well. That no one read this review from their management and sent a response. I did just change it a little bit after a little thought. . I do want everybody to know.I have never been to this restaurant before. And we chose this for a very special night…. Again, I’m very torn about this review because we loved our waitress. That much, but the food
Really hurt this review… And not having a response as well.. There is one other thing I would like to let everybody know. My dad lives in living assisted facility in West Hartford, where many many senior citizens live. Many of them knew my dad was being taken out to dinner. That night. I just don’t know what kind of response I can give them as far as the food… I just spoke with the assistant manager Gretchen, you could not ask for a nicer person ever great sense of humor and a personality second to none, and she really cared and I gotta tell you in this day and age, when everybody’s just a number she made me feel like I was important in same with my father. She took care of us which is not what we were looking for but she wanted to make sure that she took care of what happened. And you can’t ask for anything better than that. I’d recommend that place to anybody who wants great service. A great time with great people. Thank you, Gretchen. Again for all you just did it meant a lot to meAnd my dad
