The most authentic Taiwanese food I have ever had in the United States. Quality and taste are spot on. Each dish is prepared with extra care, with all details met. Each bite brings back memories of my childhood. This is truly one of the best Taiwanese restaurants in the US, and a MUST try.

Easy parking lot parking. Here for a friday lunch. Parents felt green beans were a little soggy. Could be harder to source fresh vegetables in reno. Boba was good. Fried chicken lunch was ok. The fried chicken pieces were a bit small but I was plenty happy with the meal. My parents come here to gamble so we will probably be back. No wait. Only 2 other tables here when we came.

I came to get a quick solo dinner after reading some great reviews. The beef noodle soup was indeed delicious and came out almost instantly. The service was efficient and kind, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Highly recommended!

Everything we ordered was delicious! We will definitely be going back. The menu is huge and it was difficult to decide what we wanted, because everything looked great. The braised pork belly and the pork belly bao were fantastic, as was the scallion pancake. And the breading on the crispy pork and crispy chicken was phenomenal! The meat was super tender and flavorful. This dining experience honestly felt like we walked into someone’s home kitchen. We loved it!

I set up a team dinner here for ~20 people from my work. They were easy to book, great service, and the food was delicious. The food came out quickly and it was great to try things that were new to all of us. I recommend the popcorn chicken and the spicy eggplant. There were vegetarian options

We came pretty late at around 8:15pm and asked if it was too late for the kitchen to serve us. We were totally prepared to leave if it was. They told us it was okay and seated us. The server then proceeded to rush us through ordering and admonished us that the kitchen was closing soon. I get that he was stressed but we ordered within ten minutes of sitting so it’s not like we were sitting there for ages deciding. If we had known that the kitchen was closing up already we absolutely would not have tried to squeeze in a dinner, but that’s something the front of house should have communicated to us if that was an issue. They could have just told us that the kitchen was closing soon so we could choose whether to stay or eat, but seating us was telling us that it was okay to order.

I didn’t love the service in that aspect, but the food definitely came out quickly. We ordered the zha jiang mien, beef noodle soup, and pork with bamboo shoots. Beef in the soup was a little dry and soup was a little salty, while the zha jiang mien didn’t quite have enough flavor. Stir fry was pretty good though. I’m giving four stars mainly for the food. Definitely still a pretty decent spot for Taiwanese in Reno though.

1. Service is pretty good. The food serving is quick without much wait. We were checked upon twice. But not that outstanding

2. The vibe is good. Decoration is pretty Taiwanese flavor.

3. The food experience is mixed for us.

The popcorn chicken is very very good! Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside.

The braised beef noodle, which is supposed to be their flagship dish, is absolutely disappointing. Worst one we had ever. The beef is hard instead of tender. The soup is salty and without any beef aroma (just like made of soy sauce + salt instead of any beef soup). This is really the biggest failing point. The noodle itself is good and taste like authentically handmade.

I think it is still good place to go for Chinese/Taiwanese food. But lower your expectation please.

Good all the time. So delicious. One of my favorite locations for a quick lunch or a dinner. My favorite meal is the braised beef over rice. We love it so much that we came over here Thanksgiving last year. As you can see, I ate all of it because it’s so delicious. We love this place. Thank you for the great service and delicious

A Taiwanese spot in Reno is a pleasant surprise. The spices here are impressively authentic, delivering bold flavors without drowning the dish in salt, which is a rarity in this region. The service was efficient and friendly, with our waitress taking our order swiftly and the food arriving in under five minutes. While I appreciated the quick turnaround, I couldn’t help but wonder if some of the dishes were prepped in advance and simply reheated. Thankfully, any concerns were quickly dispelled, and the food tasted fresh and well-prepared.

The beef noodle soup was a good dish, especially for Reno, though I’ve certainly had better in cities with more established Taiwanese fare. The beef was seasoned nicely but a bit dry, likely from spending too much time in the soup. Still, it wasn’t a dealbreaker, and the broth had a nice depth of flavor.

The popcorn chicken bento was a standout. The fried basil was a lovely touch, and the inclusion of pickled vegetables and ground pork over rice really brought a distinct Taiwanese flavor to the plate. It felt like a thoughtful, well-balanced dish.

However, the true highlight of the meal was the beef wrapped in scallion pancake. The combination of hoisin sauce with the beef was spot-on, and the stir-fried peppers tucked inside gave the dish a unique twist that set it apart from your typical Taiwanese offerings.

Overall, this is a solid spot for Taiwanese food in Reno. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s certainly worth a visit, especially if you’re craving something authentic in the area.
