We have came here a few times a month for the last few years and have never had a bad experience. My wife gets the salad bar and I get the steak n shrimp with a sweet potato and a soup from the salad bar. Everything is always amazing!! We will continue to come here for date nights, until something changes, but I don’t see that happening. Staffs awesome foods often why would I not come back.

We have been coming here for years as most other residents of Indiana. Throughout the years it has had its up and downs but our most recent dining experience was the worst and will be the one to keep us from returning for quite some time, if ever again! We were one of maybe 10 tables total. The salad bar was not in the best shape, much of the salad and deserts were obviously sitting for a long time covered with some new stock over top of the old instead of restocking with fresh containers and items. The attendees were scraping the food from containers into the canisters then using those ver6 same gloved hands to clear fallen debris from the surface into the water well underneath. We both ordered the Filets medium and they came out as little tiny nuggets with a chared exterior, my wife’s was a fatty medium rare and mine was cooked near well done. My added crab cake was barely warmed in the broiler, still looking near as raw as from the container and had crunchy consistency in a bite or 2 near the end which was weird since it wasn’t toasted. The restaurant looked like it was being run by a Junior high school Home economics class that were left to their own with little guidance on proper customer interaction. It was one of the most strangest visits that wer have ever had to this location in the years that we have been dining here. Since the Texas Roadhouse had come to town this place has been going down hill as expected but you would think it might be a good time to step up the game instead of letting the restaurant degrade further and further. Regardless we continued to spread our patronage but it seems as though Hoss’s has now lost much more than we had thought which now includes our business for the foreseeable future. That was the worst $100 meal that the 2 of us have had as long as we can remember. My suggestion is to stay away from Hoss’s and spend your money at one of the other local in-town eateries.

We went here for an impromptu lunch in January of ‘26. Wasn’t expecting much as out of towners but we were pleasantly surprised. Attentive service,place was clean and most importantly the food was fresh!! The entire salad bar was attended to and clean with a decent variety. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Food was delicious, server was AMAZING. My daughter and I stopped for dinner this evening. Demetrius (sorry, not sure of the proper spelling), was so great. Polite, kind, attentive. Made the dinner more enjoyable. Salad bar was clean, well stocked. Steak tips tender. My daughter had the chicken sandwich and said it was wonderful.

I haven’t been to Hoss’s in YEARS! But I’m glad someone convinced me to go recently. The inside has been kept up-to-date more than I expected it to be. There’s TONS of seating available. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Mac-n-Cheese & it tasted great – it was so cheesy & the bacon on top was crispy but thick. The salad bar had a nice variety, although in order to accomplish that, it seemed crowded; but I was ok with that. The Chicken Noodle Soup from the salad bar was perfect – there was actually tons of big chunks of quality chicken in it, & the noodles were perfectly aldente. I was a little sad that there was no longer the option for chocolate icecream at the machine, but there was a lot of toppings to put on the vanilla. I was a little surprised at how much it cost for me & my brother’s meal, but I guess that comes with inflation. All in all, I will definitely return, (& before another 20 years passes.)

Not a fan at all. Was going to give 3 stars until I ended up with heartburn. My wife did too. Looks like it was going to be a nice place. Pretty basic food though. Got the feeling they didn’t put much effort into making any of the food.

Lots of good options here, and lots of good options at the salad bar too. For many dishes, they offer either two sides or one side plus food from the salad bar. I had trouble choosing from the salad bar and therefore chose a lot!

Always a good experience at Hoss’s. The salad bar is huge and kids under a certain age can eat for free. Meals are well. Priced and tasty. Nothing fancy about this place, but we come here often with family. Recommended, especially for larger groups.
