We went in at opening time and there were people lining up already. If you want the hibachi experience, I would recommend making a reservation before coming.
Food was surprisingly delicious! Served hot, portions were good.

Amazing diversity of meals, appetizers, and beverages. The hibachi show is very entertaining and family friendly, and the quality of flavor makes Sumo’s Wenatchee one of the best places to dine out. Affordable for the giant portions you have (and take home), and the staff was beyond attentive and present. McKenzie was amazing!

I just moved to Wenatchee and this is the first restaurant I got to try and wow it didn’t disappoint! The sushi rolls are so good, and a pretty nice size I must mention. My favorite is the Madison roll 9/10! We also ordered the Crepe Cake and it was pretty good, although I kind of expected it to be softer maybe 7/10. The service wasn’t the best, which is a shame because our server was so nice but not as attentive as we would have liked. Overall I recommend!

This is a local favorite I later learned and can see why. The food was great and prices were reasonable. You can’t go wrong with a restaurant packed with a whole bunch of family and friends.

Did the all you can eat sushi, the options are less than what is found out west, but what was available was amazing. If you enjoy salmon, I suggest trying the salmon hand roll. The salmon to rice ratio is great. Fantastic service by wait staff too!

So we were staying in Leavenworth on Christmas day and decided to head into Wannache due to a long wait time for food. Most places were closed, so after the second call to this place letting us know they’re open, we immediately decided to head over. To our surprise, we came in to not wait on a long line to eat, and man this was the perfect choice. First the atmosphere was very pleasant, we were seated in less than 15 min. Our waitress was knowledgeable and helped informed us of great choices for dinner. Without telling my life story, this place was awesome, and I highly recommend you trying it if you haven’t yet!

This place is really great. The wait staff were quick and attentive, the food was delicious. Definitely recommend the apple blossom roll, that’s why this area is famous, for the apples. It’s really great to see the chefs use that uniquely local ingredient to create something truly amazing. Everything was good. Definitely will repeat. Thank you very much!

Place seemed to have a good rating but we were Very disappointed with how the food tasted. Atmosphere seems nice, but the only spice / flavour in our food was salt. We had the hibachi salmon entree, the hibachi filet mignion entree and the Naruto. The meat was just salted and the veggies and fried rice were flavourless and bland, felt like boiled food. The Naruto was strictly okay, the cucumber layers were quite thick and so we could barely taste the meat inside.
Maybe this is an acquired taste.

First impression: receptionists asks if I have an order to pick up. Very presumptuous approach, I almost turned away.
Now the rest of my time there was delightful the rest of the staff was great; meal prep and drink delivery were extremely fast. The food was delicious. The sushi was near perfect.
