Came in for a meal around 1:00pm today the service was great and the food and presentation of the food on this occasion was worth writing a positive review about. Everything seemed to be made with care so definitely appreciated that. I would return if I can get the same kind of care with how the food was made for sure!

It has been a long time since our last Black Eyed Pea dinning experience as the one closest to us has closed.
We made the drive to this one because my mom was wanting their Chicken Fried Steak. The menu has changed a bit but they still have the old favorites like the chicken fried steak, pot roast and fried catfish. We also tried the new skillet cornbread.
Our meals were good and the service was great. There are other new things on the menu that we may want to go back and try if we happen to be close to one.

Large portions of flavorless crap 4 to 1 mash to meat ratio, meat has no flavor watered down gravy overcooked waxy vegetables and dirt tasting mashed potatos for 30 dollars a person eat somewhere else. It might have been an off night but its now my dogs dinner. Photos a little messy because I was digging for meat and veggies. Also forgot my side unless the 3 carrots includes my side and what auto comes with the meal. I used to eat here like 2 or 3 times a month when they first reopened with the family but its definitely not the same.

Came here for a thanksgiving lunch. the staff was able to seat us quickly and were very nice throughout our dining. Food was very good and the price was very reasonable for the large portion we received. Overall a great experience. I would be happy to return here given the chance.
Since this review we have come back for Thanksgiving meal two more times for total of 3 Thanksgivings in a row and plan on it next year too. So far it did not disappoint.

In the past, we have always had good food and service here, but last night was an exception. The steak I ordered was awful – it was tough, chewy and I had a hard time cutting it up to eat it. Baked potato was way over done and the squash was cold. For the price we had to pay for that and other items, it will be a while before I go back.

Looked forward to Chicken Fried chicken w/Jalapeño gravy. They were out of Blue Moon. The server was a little short (not friendly social). Food was good, gravy was not as tasty. Overall prices were high and being out of Blue Moon well that is unacceptable. May be a long while before we return.

Our server was wonderful, she delivered our meals quickly and answered all my questions to help me narrow down my selections. They brought out Colorado honey with the rolls, a delightful sweet addition to our meals plus the serving sizes were generous enough we could bring the extras home!

Really like Black Eyed Pea at times. I remember ordering carryout from this location during Covid to help out. We stopped by today for a late lunch and it was very chilly in there with everyone wearing their coats. If it is too cold on a cold winter day people will remember and pick somewhere else to eat. I have an app to check my smartphone sensors and once it was around 60 degrees.
