Amazing sushi! All the fish was so fresh and prepared perfectly. We had a Dragon roll, Rainbow roll, and the deluxe combination of chef’s choice nigiri.

This is by far my favourite restaurant in SF! The quality of the fish, the service, the flavour! Everything was top notch. If you can, try to be seated at the bar so you can talk directly to the chef… it adds to the experience!

Expect to wait 30min before getting seated. The restaurant is packed on Friday or Saturday nights!

You can’t call to make a reservation here. You’ll need to walk in and either be seated immediately or write your name on the list. Whatever happens as long as you get to sit down and eat at this establishment is your good fortune. I had the mackerel dinner, my son had the salmon dinner, and my partner had all types of sushi. I could barely speak because my tastebuds were too busy having a party in my mouth. Definitely worth any wait!!!

First when I come in they put me at the darkest corner in the restaurant and I asked to move to another table.

Second, no one ask for what I want to drink after 5 minutes I sat down. (For some reason all the staff including the chef were focusing on one specific table may be VIP I guess)

Should have more options on Omakase, I don’t mind to pay more.
But if I ordered Omakase with only regular Salmon, Tuna, Albacore, Ikura and MASAGO without even 1 piece of UNI or Scallop why would I order deluxe sushi or Omakase.

Ankimo, first time ever with no sauce and I had to ask for ponzu sauce on the side .

Conclusion, way overrated for their stars.

食完之後食物和服務水準比預期差太遠!

Sorry for not visiting sooner. Top sushi nigiri with such delicious soft sushi rice. No wonder there was a line for a seat. I will definitely be hitting this place up more often. No joke.

The best sushi in SF. The quality of the fish is next to none. The ambiance and atmosphere is extremely authentic and feels straight out of Tokyo. It is a place worth visiting time and time again.

Date night! We tried this restaurant for the first time for dinner. They don’t take reservations, so you sign up on a clipboard when you arrive. It’s a small, cozy space, and we only had to wait 15 minutes on a Wednesday. Our server, Nori, was excellent. We ordered a few yummy appetizers, like seaweed salad, edamame, and shrimp tempura. The hand rolls were great, with fresh, crispy seaweed—there’s nothing worse than old, chewy seaweed! We also loved the “chef’s choice”, and my favorite was the Romeo/Juliet roll. The Aladdin sake was flavorful and unfiltered, just the way I like it. The team-based service was appreciated. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

Look how generous the cuts are! Honestly the best sushi I’ve ever had in all of California and possibly America. The quality is always consistent and delicious. I’ve seen the same people go here multiple times…myself included. I would recommend sitting at the bar for the full experience. It’s a very lively place with fish, sake, and beer always flowing.

We came here for lunch and had an excellent meal! We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and the quality and consistency has stood the test of time. We ordered the warm sake, shrimp tempura roll, spider roll, 49er roll, double hamachi roll, rainbow roll, salmon sashimi, salmon special, chirashi, mochi ice cream, and green tea ice cream. Everything was delicious, and we will definitely continue coming back when we’re back in San Francisco!

Long line to get in during dinner time.

Food is great. Especially like the Omakase. $45 for 18 pieces (6 different kinds, 3 pieces for each). But each piece is very small and thin. Given the price of $45, it is still good. You can try different fishes in one order.

Lobster dynamite is something I do not see in other Japanese restaurants. Worth to try. But I think the lobster was overcooked.

Best sushi I’ve had in a while, and has one of the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen. Ordered the Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Crunchy Roll, and Garlic Lemon Edamame, and they were all incredibly delicious and were priced right for their quality. The delicious food paired with its fabulous interior and efficient service will be bringing me back again very soon.
