The main descriptor here is “cozy.” Classic diner setup with wooden booths, plain coffee, and cholesterol-rich splurges. They are doing it right!
The food was what-you-would-expect diner fare. Menu items weren’t inventive, but they didn’t need to be. I enjoyed that some entree combos included both savory and sweet elements—some places divide these up, and I usually need a little of both. I went with the Paul Bunyan with a side of French toast, which scratched every breakfast itch I had. I’m also a hash brown snob, and I like it all seared together. This place didn’t serve them soggy (thank goodness), but also not totally held together. Not a bad showing.
I could see myself being a regular here!

Molly Browns Cafe is a gem that is easily overlooked! I have gone by hundreds of times and finally stopped in for breakfast. It was soooo delicious! The peppers were very fresh and the mixture of flavors makes me eager to go back for more! Definitely going to add this to my list of places to recommend to EVERYONE! Do yourself a major favor and stop in sometime. You will love it!

My first time eating here. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The country breakfast was excellent. My order was brought to my table quickly and nice and hot. My waitress did a great job checking to see if I needed anything. The restaurant was busy but I never had to wait for service.

I don’t think I’ve ever had biscuits and gravy this bad in my entire life, if you are looking for gravy jelly TEXTURE with a pound of pepper, then the gravy is for you! There’s no sausage in it, idk who was told to keep this as a recipe, but PLEASE take it off the menu.. it’s genuinely not hard to mess up biscuits and gravy.. baffled all ya gotta do is get some ground sausage and the right gravy, it was almost like an MRE gone wrong is the best way I could describe it, should be ashamed to call that gravy !

Very nice environment, Christina is kind and works efficiently. Food quality and quantity was worth the price. Had the Molly Brown’s “Fall” Special.

Molly brown cafe was a great experience. The food is quality and the portions are large.
I got the cinnamon roll French toast and biscuits with gravy. They don’t make sausage gravy so I had country gravy and cut up sausage links. Well flavored.
Overall, tasty food with large portions.

This place is not anything special and nothing unique on the menu. Wait for food is excessive 40+ mins for ham & cheese omelet with homefies and 2 eggs over easy, bacon & fruit. Not to mention the rude greeting when you arrive. They won’t seat you until entire party present. Even if just parking the car. But as we sat waiting for the food watched 2 other tables be partially seated waiting for guests to arrive.

So glad I finally stopped here! I wish I had stopped by when I first moved here. For the price, the portions are hard manual labor approved! After a breakfast here, I can fell and split wood for hours!!! So far I have had the country fried steak, garden skillet, and pork chops with eggs. All portions were protein heavy and very satisfying. I generally don’t like fruit bowls, but doc says I need them so I have been getting them. The fruit bowls here are bountiful, and fresh! Every other place I have gotten a fruit bowl they are the little serving dish size. Here they are a full sized bowl, and the fruit is crisp and fresh. The food I have gotten so far is generally very lightly seasoned. Very little salt and spice. Easy for me too add a little salt and hot sauce, and perfect for my grandma, who is watching her salt intake. Overall I was very pleased, and I will definitely be returning.

Fantastic little diner. It was bustling when my daughter and I visited on a Saturday, 10:15am.
We were seated immediately. Our waitress, Christina, promptly took our drink order. She was very accommodating throughout our meal.
We just got water to drink. My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll French toast, with scrambled eggs and links. She really enjoyed the sweetened flavor. It had raisins and walnuts.
I ordered the fried chicken skillet (fried potatoes, green bell peppers, no onions, cheese, gravy, fried chicken pieces) with 3 poached eggs and rye toast. The skillet was one of the best I’ve eaten. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and the gravy added a savory taste that complemented the skillet.
The prices were very reasonable. $8.99 for my daughter and $12.99 for me.
Well worth coming and so definitely come again.
