Sushi King has honestly become one of my family’s favorite spots. Seriously… where else can you get amazing sushi for around $25? The quality for the price is unreal.
If you have picky kids who won’t eat sushi, no worries at all. Their meals are about $12 and they have chicken nuggets, French fries, and corn dogs. Or even better, just order the hibachi steak without veggies and boom… happy kid. You can even grab them ice cream and call it a win.
But for the adults who love sushi… my goodness, it is SO good. My absolute favorite is the Charlottesville roll with mango, eel, and salmon. I’m obsessed. We come to this location the most because the that roll, and when I order shrimp here, they use the big, fresh ones not the small, pre frozen ones. Huge difference.

This place is incredible. I want to tell everyone to come try it… but at the same time, it’s even better when it’s not busy . Just kidding please keep them in business because I need this spot in my life. We come at least once a month and always leave happy.

I always have a good time here for the all you can eat sushi. I sit at the bar and enjoy a Japanese soda and order some of my favorite rolls. The staff is friendly and attentive and the location is amazing! The sushi I had still had fresh warm rice wrapped around it. Cannot wait to be back!

I’ve come here several times and it can be hit or miss — but today it was amazing !! I’m always so happy to have Chayenne as my server – her level of service and approachability is so refreshing and greatly appreciated !! I know I’m in good hands with her always!! And the food today was PERFECTION – everything hot and crispy when expected, and FRESH and beautifully built when expected. Such a pleasant time today!

We have tried every Sushi King in the area. First of all, the prices on the website are not up to date. Dinner is not 18.99, it is 24.99. Also, they say that the give 10% military discount but this location DOES NOT honor it. In fact, they treat you as if you are stealing.

Each time the staff brought out our order, it was wrong. Not only that, the food was not nearly as good as other locations. We have much better sushi in the area. The soup was cold, it was late and not even good. Sushi itself, it is better at our local Kroger.

When we were leaving, I took the check to the front desk to ask about the military discount and the owner or manager followed us (family of 4) and treated us as if we were going to walk out and not pay. Due to the low quality food, poor service, and not only not honoring the discount that they post but treating us as if we were stealing by following us, we won’t be back. Ever.

I had a terrible experience at Sushi King. Andrew, the manager, was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional when I brought up that my drink flight was made incorrectly. He refused to make another one or issue a refund, saying they “can’t refund anything because the flight was made,” even though it was not received.

I ordered the strawberry, peach, mango, and watermelon flavors. The server was very sweet and did her best, but she wasn’t a bartender and clearly didn’t know how to prepare them. She even apologized and mentioned she wasn’t trained on making flights.

What’s worse, Andrew refused to discard the incorrect flight — implying he would keep it rather than remake it. If that’s the case, it’s a major health and sanitation concern. Between the poor management, lack of training, and disregard for customer safety, I will never return.

First time here!! Been eyeing this little gem.
Service was great! Food was not bad at all for an Ayce place… place was clean and prices were reasonable. The bar selection is also splendid. Food comes out in a timely manner as well.. definitely will return, this place def met my expectations.

Unfortunately I’ve been here 3 times in 3 weeks. I love it. My favorite sushi rolls are the spicy California roll (which is not spicy), Hawaii Roll, and the volcano roll!! I’ve tried the Rainbow roll and it was definitely flavorful. The chicken yakisoba was delicious the first time I had it. The second time not so much. I would not recommend the hibachi vegetables…it comes off like regular vegetables soaking in this brown tasteless gravy. But the rolls are absolutely delightful. Will be back for more! COME SEE THE SINGING ROBOT THAT DELIVERS DRINKS!!!!!

Mediocre food for high prices. To start we didnt even get what we ordered. Food kept coming to our table that wasn’t even ours. The food we did recieve was poorly made and fell apart. We called for a manager at hour 2 of our experience it was another 30 mins before our server came back saying they would take 20% off our order. 20% for what we didn’t even eat!!! There were 12 people in the front of house staff and it was a nightmare to get ahold of anyone let along someone who even understood what table we were. Everything is numbered so I have no idea how everything was expedited so poorly. Won’t be eager to return.

The hubby and I were craving sushi. We were in town with family and wandered past this restaurant. We decided to give it a try.

The space was clean and cute. The decor was pretty standard for a sushi place.

We did the all-you-can-eat dinner option (which it seems is the only option at dinner time). We ordered soup and five rolls between the two of us for $60 after tip.

The miso was fine and a decent little portion. We ordered the spicy salmon roll, the crazy monkey roll, the last Vegas roll, the deluxe roll, and the Norfolk roll. As far as sushi goes – it was very average.

It definitely scratched the itch and the price was fine, but it wasn’t anything special.

At the end we got cute little ice cream cups which was a great little treat to finish off our meal.

Our server was cute and helpful. I only docked a star because the person running the food had ear buds in the whole time and looked annoyed when we asked for clarification on which roll was which.
